**Halo 5 — Before the Storm: collect the five recordings before talking to Halsey** *Halo 5: Guardians, Xbox campaign. Mission spoilers.* You're back in the Sangheili camp with the Constructor, and the attack on Sunaion is nearly ready. Before the Storm is another short conversation mission, with five intel items and no skull. The important difference from the earlier visit is the ending trigger. Report to Palmer first, but leave the final conversation with Halsey until you've finished exploring. Speaking to her advances the mission into its closing sequence. **Start behind you** **Honorguard Personal Log 2/2** is behind the starting position. Turn around, climb the rocks, and inspect the boxes above you. It's worth doing that immediately. The objective points you into camp, while this first recording sits in the opposite direction. Once you've turned toward Palmer, it's easy to forget the patch of ground you arrived on. **Climb the pillar** For **Attack Wing Jardam Combat Report**, return toward the camp and use the nearby crate and raised rocks to reach the leaning pillar. Climb it, jump across to the standing pillar, and clamber onto the top. This is a climb rather than a hidden conversation. Look for the data pad on the upper surface and interact with it before dropping down. If you fall, take a second to face the next landing properly before repeating the jump. You have room to line it up without anyone firing at you. **Check the ledge near the command area** **Sangheili Security Officer's Log** is on a crate on the nearby raised ledge by the command area. Check above the main walking route rather than searching only the ground around the Arbiter and Palmer. You can speak to Palmer as part of your sweep. Her report sends you onward to Halsey, but you don't need to rush there while you still have recordings to find. **Take the high path** For **Dr. Halsey: Status [Supplemental]**, follow the small side gully and climb the rocks toward the upper overlook. Look down onto the stone ledge near the sloping stonework for the recording. That high route also gives you a useful view across the camp. Stop and identify the tents before dropping away; the final pickup is reached from their roofs. **Cross the tent roofs** **Unggoy Science Report** requires the tent climb. Get onto the lower roof, work up across the tiered tents, and circle toward the outer ledge beside the highest one. Jump across and collect the data pad near the crate. Use the different roof heights as steps. Trying to reach the final ledge directly from the ground makes this look much harder than it needs to be. The Constructor heads toward the Guardian sooner than expected, and the attack moves forward. This also leads into Halsey's warning about Cortana and her request that Locke bring John home. It's a short scene, but it connects the fighting about to happen on Sanghelios to the reason Osiris came looking for Chief in the first place.
