**Halo 5 — Osiris: seven intel items, IWHBYD and the Elite General** **Osiris spoilers.** This checklist is for Halo 5: Guardians, not MCC. The mission has seven intel items and one skull. A relaxed collectible run and the Elite General challenge are different jobs: the latter specifically calls for Heroic, while you can collect IWHBYD without making this a Legendary run. Use the Artemis scan as you reach each landmark. Then interact with the item and check that the collection registers. Walking past a glowing object isn't enough. **The seven intel stops** 1. **Unggoy Personal Log 005:** at the start, check the right-hand cliff beside the wreckage. The dead Grunt and Covenant supplies mark the spot. 2. **Jul 'Mdama's Log:** after breaking the first ice wall, look over the left edge. Drop to the lower ledge for the pad. 3. **Covenant Combat Orders:** before entering the security station, climb the rocky ledges on its right. Look beside the weapons and fallen Grunt. 4. **Halsey Research Notes 1/4:** in the cave route after the first view of the Kraken, inspect the lower ledge off the path. The small recess below the main route holds the item. 5. **Halsey Research Notes 2/4:** before entering the building beyond the Kraken hillside, climb right of the doorway and check the lower cliff ledge beside the body and supplies. 6. **Halsey Research Notes 3/4:** inside, check the floor at the large window before the Knight arena. 7. **Halsey Research Notes 4/4:** after the final fight, climb the raised ledge to the right of the exit. Search beside the debris before advancing to the ending. Those are route-order landmarks. The important habit is to stop before crossing the next major doorway or dropping into another area. It is much easier to check a nearby side ledge than to finish the level and wonder which of four research notes you missed. **IWHBYD** Return your attention to the **security station entrance**, before the Kraken hill. The intel is on the right side of that entrance; the skull is on the left. Climb onto the left-hand ledge outside the doorway and follow it around toward the cliff overlook. Pick up the skull there. You do not need the later Halsey temple or the final Knight arena. IWHBYD changes rare dialogue frequency when enabled. Collecting it contributes to the skull achievements; enabling it is a separate menu choice. If this is your first skull, the associated achievement is **Gravedigger**. The all-skull goal is **Gravelord**. Your first intel item contributes **Conspiracy Theory**, while **Hunt the Truth** is for all 117 across the campaign, not just the seven here. **Your Team is Your Weapon** Give Fireteam Osiris a command during the mission. With standard controls, aim at an enemy and press up on the directional pad to order an attack. A movement order also works. There's no need to deliberately get knocked down. Use an ordinary command during an ordinary fight, which also gets you accustomed to the squad system. **Enemy of my Enemy** **Required setting for this plan: Heroic.** The achievement asks you to help the Elite General charge the hill in Osiris. This is the gold-armored Elite in the Covenant group fighting Prometheans on the Kraken hillside. You need him to reach the top alive. He isn't a friendly squad member, and getting too close can make him attack you. Before leaving the cave, have a useful ranged weapon. Take the higher right-hand approach so you can see and remove the enemies ahead of him. Direct your Spartans forward toward the Prometheans rather than leaving them near the Covenant group. Avoid grenades around the General. Make clearing his route your priority. Standing back without helping can leave him exposed; charging into his face can draw his attention away from the hill. Work ahead and off to the side, checking that he is still alive as the fight moves uphill. If he dies, retry from a checkpoint that still has him alive rather than completing the level expecting a later rescue to count. The challenge is this particular charge. A failed attempt doesn't require abandoning your collectible progress, but check the mission counters afterward rather than relying on memory. **End-of-run check** - Osiris completed: **Into the Fire**. - Squad command used: **Your Team is Your Weapon**. - Seven intel entries recorded for this mission. - IWHBYD collected. - If attempted on Heroic, General survived the charge: **Enemy of my Enemy**. The mission can be completed normally without the General challenge. Keep that distinction clear if you're helping a friend through the story and don't want to repeatedly restart the hill.
