**Halo 4: Requiem — the terminal and the four mission targets** **The Master Chief Collection. Mission spoilers.** The collectible on Requiem is easy to pass because it comes after the final serious fight. You beat the Hunters, see the elevator ahead and naturally want to keep going. Take a moment before that lift. The terminal is underneath the ramp leading toward it. **What counts here** - **Requiem:** complete the mission. - **War:** activate Terminal 1 on Requiem. - **Interloper:** beat the **15-minute** par time. - **Dark Fortress:** beat the **22,000-point** par score. The terminal can be collected on any difficulty. There isn't a physical campaign skull hidden elsewhere on the level that you need to find alongside it. **Terminal 1: after the Hunters, before the elevator** Play through the crash site, Cartographer, bridge and final gateway approach. Near the end, the route takes you past a pair of Hunters guarding the entrance. After dealing with them, go through the doorway and continue into the passage leading toward the last elevator. The ramp ahead is the landmark. Instead of taking it straight to the lift, look underneath and behind it for the terminal. Walk up and activate the terminal. Simply walking past it doesn't register the collectible. Check for the interaction and achievement rather than relying on whether you remember seeing the object. Once it is recorded, return to the ramp and take the elevator to finish the mission. If you're doing a timed attempt, decide beforehand whether you're collecting it on that run. It is a short detour, but you don't want to reach the end with a tight clock and then start searching the room from scratch. **Interloper: spend less time wandering, not more time dying** The target is below fifteen minutes. The biggest route problems are usually hesitation at the machinery, unnecessary vehicle wrestling and returning to places that no longer contain an objective. At the Cartographer, remember the sequence: bridge control, core activation, return route, other core, then the Cartographer again. These aren't generators you shoot. Knowing that saves more time than sprinting in circles while trying every weapon on the wrong object. Use the early Warthog where it belongs and abandon it when the route turns into the foot passage. Later, make a deliberate decision about the available vehicles rather than spending several minutes trying to take a Banshee you don't need for your plan. At the end, arrive with a usable answer to the Hunters. An empty precision rifle and no grenades can turn the last encounter into a long interruption. A modest ammunition reserve is worth more than a few seconds saved by ignoring every supply along the way. The walkthrough route is for a conventional clear. It isn't a promise of a sub-fifteen-minute result on your first try. Use the visible timer, learn where you lose time and leave a margin beneath the target. **Dark Fortress: the score target is 22,000** For MCC, use **22,000 points** for Requiem. Some older reference material still shows a different figure, which is why it's worth checking the actual mission rather than carrying Dawn's target over to this one. Build a score attempt around fights you can finish reliably. The outdoor infantry, bridge and gateway provide opportunities to score, but repeatedly dying while chasing one difficult kill isn't a good trade. Precision kills and steady progress help. Pick a difficulty and scoring modifiers that you can handle, keep moving after encounters are settled, and check the final result. A time route that leaves a lot of enemies behind and a score route that works through them are not necessarily the same run. **An old Xbox 360 guide can send you after the wrong thing** The original Halo 4 has **Midnight Launch**, the Warthog-at-midnight challenge. That achievement was not carried into MCC. You don't need to arrange a midnight jump to complete MCC's Requiem checklist. The mission completion, terminal, par-time and par-score targets above are the relevant direct objectives here. Broader campaign and cumulative combat achievements are separate.
