**Coastal Highway achievements: the final escort, Déjà Vu and the epilogue secret**
*MCC. Finale and epilogue spoilers.*
There is a big difference between finishing Coastal Highway and finishing it under Déjà Vu's rules. Get the requirements straight in the lobby. Finding out after the first gate that someone briefly sat in a Warthog is not the way you want a four-player session to go.
**Mission targets**
- **Coastal Highway:** finish on any difficulty in MCC.
- **Double Time!:** finish under **25:00**.
- **This Oliphant Has No Brakes:** finish above **90,000 points**.
- **Déjà Vu:** finish on **four-player Legendary co-op, with Iron enabled, without using a Warthog or Scorpion**.
- **"BLAM" Said The Lady!:** swap Dare's pistol for a rocket launcher.
**One Got Away** is the related Easter egg in the separately selectable Epilogue, not something to search for beside the highway.
**Give Dare the rockets**
In the opening courtyard, check the far-left weapon-cache area relative to your approach. Take the rocket launcher. Replace your own pistol when picking it up so you are not already carrying the weapon Dare is supposed to hand you.
Find Dare by her identifier and use the weapon-trade interaction while holding the launcher. The achievement is for the trade, not for waiting until she kills a particular enemy. The pause at the elevator gives you time to do it after the opening fight.
There is another launcher in the final defensive building, which provides a later opportunity. Make the exchange with **Dare**, not Buck. Giving rockets to a different teammate is not the same achievement.
**Déjà Vu: set it up properly**
Start the mission from the beginning with four players, Legendary difficulty and Iron enabled. A late rally point is not a substitute for the full mission requirement.
Nobody should enter a Warthog or Scorpion in any seat. Don't use one briefly to get everyone organized. Mongooses and Ghosts are permitted alternatives, so the challenge is not a ban on every vehicle.
In the first highway section, take the service-tunnel/off-ramp route beneath the road. Under the challenge setup, it provides two Mongooses and four rocket launchers with exceptionally large ammunition reserves. Pair up so the passengers can handle armor while the drivers keep the group moving with the Olifant.
With Iron in co-op, a player's death sends the team back to the checkpoint. Avoid firing a rocket into your driver's back, a nearby wall or the other Mongoose crossing your line. Call the shot when the vehicles are close together. More ammunition does not make careless blast placement safer.
Keep pace with Dare without abandoning the truck under fire. Clear the heavy threats, regroup at the gates and check that all players are ready before the next section. At the final building, use cover and divide the approaches instead of having four players rush the same landing group.
The standard campaign route's Gauss Warthog and Scorpion upgrades are off limits for this attempt. A vehicle that looks like a convenient recovery after a death can invalidate the condition just as easily as one at the start.
**Twenty-five minutes and ninety thousand points**
The time target rewards an efficient escort, not simply a fast driver. Clear threats that stop the group, take the normal vehicle upgrades on an unrestricted run and get through the final defense without long searches for surviving enemies.
For score, turn the display on and make good use of occupied vehicles and aircraft along the route. Choose a difficulty and scoring modifiers that let you finish reliably. The original Xbox 360 mission's 60,000-point figure is not the MCC target.
Avoid casually adding unusual modifiers to a serious attempt. In particular, community documentation reports Boom causing problems when the Olifant explodes and the Engineer dismounts. A normal no-Boom setup avoids introducing that extra failure point.
**One Got Away: look left in the Epilogue**
Select **Epilogue** on any difficulty. Watch until Johnson is sitting with the Engineer and the cigar-lighting conversation begins. Use your normal look control to turn the camera **left**—right stick on controller, mouse movement on PC.
That reveals Buck with the hidden caveman. Keep the scene running and check for **One Got Away**. You don't need to replay the entire highway each time, and Legendary is not required for this particular view.
If the camera never turns, check the timing and your look input rather than searching the playable mission for a monkey. It is a cinematic Easter egg with a controllable camera moment.
