**Kikowani Station achievements: seven splatters and a song hidden above a doorway**
*MCC. Mission spoilers.*
The aircraft here are not just transport between objectives. They are the answer to the mission's splatter challenge and the way to reach one of ODST's hidden music cues. Neither task needs to become part of your first serious score attempt.
**The targets**
- **Kikowani Station:** complete the mission on any difficulty in MCC.
- **Feet Don't Fail Me Now:** beat **10:00**.
- **Squid Jackpot!:** beat **42,000 points**.
- **Fast and Low:** splatter seven enemies with a Banshee on Kikowani Station.
- **Like a Broken Record:** discover the hidden music cue.
The original release's 50,000-point figure is not MCC's par. Also, this Fast and Low is not the similarly named Reach Banshee-hijacking achievement. Here you need vehicle-impact kills.
**Fast and Low**
On a dedicated Easy attempt, move toward the parked Banshees near the opening Phantom without clearing all the infantry first. Board one and use the enemies you left alive as the targets.
Keep the aircraft low enough for its body to hit an enemy. Plasma fire and bombs are kills, but they are not splatters. Make a pass with space to turn around rather than ramming a wall because you were still boosting when you reached the target.
Aim for seven confirmed splatters during the same living attempt. Community descriptions disagree about how reliably progress carries across deaths or retries, so this route doesn't rely on farming one target through checkpoint reloads. There are enough opening enemies to attempt the requirement directly.
Don't let the rest of a co-op team shoot all the intended targets while you're approaching them. Once the award is registered, return to the normal mission objectives. Keeping enemies alive for a vehicle challenge is a deliberate setup, not the usual safest way to clear the opening on Legendary.
**Like a Broken Record**
The word “legendary” in the achievement description can be misleading. Multiple MCC guides document the music achievement on **any difficulty**; Legendary also adds a separate visual Easter egg. You do not need to turn a simple music visit into a complete Legendary playthrough.
Use **Kikowani Station, Rally Point Charlie** for the short approach. Take the Banshee ahead, pass through the tunnel into the open area and turn right. Follow the wall around to the recessed area with the **Connection Lost** sign.
There is a small bridge inside this recess. The trigger is by the narrow door-cover/awning at the right-hand side of the bridge, against the wall—not the center of the bridge railing. Position the Banshee carefully and drop onto that little cover above the doorway, then move close against the wall to trigger the music.
Several areas use very similar architecture. If you are at the earlier recess with an Access Denied sign, you may be in the wrong room. Starting from Charlie helps avoid confusing the first flight area with the later one.
The trigger can be fussy. Reposition on the actual doorway cover rather than repeatedly standing in the center of the bridge. Check the achievement list after the cue. This guide does not promise that merely flying through the alcove will register it, even though some players report that happening.
On Legendary, MCC's additional character gag differs from the original Xbox 360 version. That visual extra is not another achievement you need to add to the checklist.
**Time: know which switches open what**
Ten minutes is about the mission route, not simply flying at maximum speed. Know the early landing for the door override, the later section where the smaller passage opens and you must continue on foot, and the return to flight afterward.
The Scarab can be bypassed. If you choose that route, practice the landing at the exit control rather than treating the door as something you can fly through unopened. Afterward, destroy the final marked housing-pod cluster so the closing sequence actually begins.
**Score: don't follow the old empty-vehicle advice**
For 42,000 points, clear valuable occupied vehicles and enemies efficiently while protecting the Banshee. Replace a badly damaged aircraft before it costs you a death and a replayed encounter.
Older guides earned substantial points from unoccupied vehicles and turrets. MCC changed that behavior with Series 3: Recon. Don't spend your run methodically destroying empty parked Banshees because an old score guide told you they were free points.
Keep the scoring display on, finish with a margin and verify the recorded result. A route that comfortably beats the clock can still need more combat for the score target; the timer and score are measuring different things.
