**ONI Alpha Site achievements: seven Wraiths, three jetpack Brutes and the mission pars**
*MCC. Mission spoilers.*
This is one of the ODST missions where the achievement instructions can pull against the story instructions. Mickey wants the bridge blown. The Wraith challenge gives you a reason to stop and shoot the armor first. Neither objective is mysterious once you know which one you're pursuing.
**The five mission awards**
- **ONI Alpha Site:** finish the mission on any difficulty in MCC.
- **A Pleasant Trip:** finish under **13:00**.
- **I Love My Job:** finish above **16,000 points**.
- **What About Those Tanks?:** destroy seven Wraiths on ONI Alpha Site.
- **Fowl Hunt:** kill three jetpack Brutes with a shotgun on ONI Alpha Site.
The original Xbox 360 achievement **Laser Blaster**, for ten Spartan Laser kills here, is not part of MCC's mission checklist. Using the Laser is useful for the Wraith task, but ten ordinary Laser kills won't turn into that old award in MCC.
**What About Those Tanks? is cumulative**
You do not have to destroy all seven Wraiths in one flawless completion. The documented MCC achievement counts across visits to this mission. That makes the opening much more convenient than trying to protect every potential tank kill from the bridge explosion and friendly fire.
Start with the Spartan Laser, arm the charges and reach the facility-side watchtower. Before detonating, look back toward the Covenant armor across the bridge. Destroy the Wraiths you can clearly target, then check the achievement progress. Restarting the mission lets you repeat that opening opportunity.
Use the score display as an additional check that a vehicle was actually destroyed. A glowing impact isn't proof of a kill. Don't spend the whole battery firing at a partly obscured hull and assume the counter must have advanced.
A full run also offers Wraiths during the outer defense. Fixed Gauss weapons near the bridge can help conserve the Laser for later armor. However, this guide isn't making a one-run promise based on every Wraith spawning, surviving the scripted destruction and leaving its final blow to you.
Difficulty is not specified in the achievement. Pick a comfortable setting for repeated tank kills. On a harder score run, those same targets can contribute useful points, but your first concern remains surviving long enough to finish.
**Fowl Hunt: bring the shotgun upstairs**
The useful setup starts **inside the ONI building**, not after you've reached the roof. Look for an ally carrying a shotgun and trade weapons with them. Keep enough ammunition through the interior defense to handle the rooftop targets.
After the interior waves, board the elevator. Once you reach the roof, identify the Brutes using jump packs. Kill three of those enemies with the shotgun. Ordinary Brutes are not substitutes just because they are standing on the same roof.
Easy is a sensible choice because you can close the distance with less risk. Let a target land or move into an angle where a close shot is practical; firing from across the roof wastes ammunition and gives your allies more time to finish it themselves.
Don't rely on a fixed number of blasts. Difficulty, range and previous damage all affect what happens. What matters is that your shotgun gets the required kills. In co-op, have the other players leave those targets to the person collecting the achievement rather than all firing into them together.
If allies have already killed too many jump-pack enemies, use an earlier save or replay the relevant section for another attempt. Finishing the mission cannot create three eligible targets after the roof has been cleared.
**Plan the timer around the defensive fights**
For **A Pleasant Trip**, use the timer from mission start and keep the transitions tidy. Set the charges promptly, react when the outer defense becomes a retreat, clear the interior waves without wandering off for supplies you don't need, and board the elevator as soon as that objective is ready.
This is not a mission where driving faster solves the clock. Much of the time is spent fighting enemies required to advance the encounter. Know where reinforcements arrive, and remove isolated survivors that are keeping the next stage from starting.
For **I Love My Job**, keep scoring visible and aim for a cushion over 16,000. Heavy enemies and occupied vehicles are worthwhile targets, but repeated deaths and an overly slow finish can undermine the total. Choose skulls you understand rather than copying a maximum-multiplier setup that makes the interior defense miserable.
After the final rooftop fight, get aboard the Pelican. Check the recorded time and final score on completion. A promising mid-mission total isn't the same thing as a completed par-score award.
