**Kizingo Boulevard: keep the tank alive, then be ready to leave it**
*MCC campaign walkthrough. Mission spoilers. Normal, Heroic and Legendary advice.*
Mickey starts this flashback with a rocket launcher, but the Scorpion is the real advantage. Get into it quickly. Spending the opening chasing individual infantry gives the Covenant more time to batter the vehicle you need for most of the level.
The route runs through several city blocks, a larger plaza and a final defensive fight with Dutch. The last section is on foot. Don't arrive there with an empty launcher and assume the tank will solve everything.
**Get the Scorpion moving**
The opening Wraith is behind your starting position. Rockets can deal with it before you settle into the tank; alternatively, get aboard and use the cannon when you have a clear angle. Avoid shooting explosive rounds into the Marines clustered nearby.
Once driving, advance along the street rather than trying to ram through every piece of scenery. The cannon can remove threats farther ahead than the tank needs to travel. Stop briefly for a clean shot, then change position while it reloads if incoming fire is landing around you.
On Normal, you have room to recover from a poor approach. On Legendary, treat every blind corner as another firing position. Let the barrel see the next block before the entire hull comes out into it.
**Clear the streets without getting surrounded**
Ghosts are more dangerous when they can slide around your flank. Destroy them before committing to the next turn. Wraiths should take priority over scattered infantry because their mortar fire can reach the tank while you're busy aiming elsewhere.
Look above street level too. Brutes on raised positions and stationary turrets can keep firing into you while you concentrate on the road. Clear those positions when they become visible, then proceed toward the security gate.
There is no reason to leave the tank for an ordinary Jackal. Use the main gun against grouped enemies and the machine gun for exposed light infantry. Don't keep firing explosive shells at a target standing beside friendly soldiers just because the cannon has reloaded.
If the street seems blocked, look for the intended turn or opening rather than forcing the tank over a barricade. Getting wedged sideways is a particularly bad time to discover that a Wraith still has an angle on you.
**The larger plaza and the Banshees**
Beyond the Kizingo Boulevard gate, the fight opens up around the plaza. There are ground vehicles, elevated infantry positions and Banshees overhead. For a normal completion, clear the aircraft as well as the armor so they can't keep working on your tank while you move between targets.
If you're attempting **Shiny...**, stop here and use the separate achievement instructions instead. You must preserve a Banshee for that challenge; a successful tank shot can end your opportunity before you've even started it.
The building associated with the Gauss position has useful supplies, including rockets. Once the surrounding fire is under control, replenish before moving on. Don't leave cover to collect a weapon while a live Wraith is still aiming into the plaza.
**Meet Dutch and prepare for the foot section**
Follow the objective toward Dutch. The normal route eventually makes you leave the Scorpion and pass through the blast-door area on foot. This guide does not depend on squeezing the tank through scenery or carrying it into a fight designed around infantry.
Before abandoning it, check your health and both weapons. Keep something that can remove a heavy enemy quickly and something you can use repeatedly against lighter troops. Rockets are excellent, but they are not a sensible answer to every isolated Grunt.
**Hold the rally point**
The final fight brings incoming Covenant reinforcements, including heavy threats delivered into the area. Use the buildings and solid cover instead of standing beside Dutch in an open lane and trading damage.
Prioritize a Wraith or a fuel-rod carrier when it has a shot on your position. Pick off exposed infantry between those larger threats. If you need to cross the courtyard for ammunition, clear the lane first and move while the enemy is occupied, not while your stamina is already gone.
On Heroic and Legendary, preserve an escape route behind your cover. A position that protects you from the front can still become a trap if reinforcements arrive beside it. Fall back far enough to recover, then reengage from a different angle.
Finish clearing the required defenders and regroup with Dutch when the objective updates. If the sequence isn't advancing, scan the edges and elevated positions for a survivor rather than assuming another wave is on a timer. The Scorpion section feels like the whole mission, but this last infantry fight is where an otherwise clean run can unravel.
