**Uplift Reserve: getting Dutch out of the park**
*Mission spoilers. MCC. Normal-to-Legendary conventional route.*
This is a driving mission, but you don't need to fight it the same way on every run. A careful first completion can use the Warthog and Dutch's Spartan Laser. A later speed attempt can concentrate on getting through the park instead of destroying everything in it.
**Reach the Marines and choose your vehicle**
Follow the path inland from the beach. The Marines are fighting near an overturned Warthog. Clear the immediate threats before flipping it and climbing in; an unoccupied driver's seat isn't much help if a Brute is already standing beside it.
Driving gives you control over the route and lets a Marine use the turret. If you choose to operate the gun instead, remember that an AI driver may not take the line you would have chosen. Neither option turns the Warthog into a tank.
Dutch begins with a Spartan Laser. Save its charge for threats that justify it rather than spending every shot on ordinary infantry. If you get out to fire, park behind cover first. You don't want the weapon charging while a Wraith has a clear shot at both you and the vehicle.
**First bowl and the route uphill**
Use the open ground to move around enemy vehicles rather than charging them head-on. Choppers are especially dangerous if you offer them a collision. Keep an escape lane behind you.
The route climbs past elevated Covenant positions toward the passage into the next area. Remove the guns that can track your ascent before committing to the slope. Briefly exposing your Marine gunner, then reversing behind cover, is safer than parking halfway up the hill and letting every turret fire at once.
On Legendary, prioritize keeping the vehicle mobile. If it is badly damaged, replacing it with a usable Ghost may be better than insisting your first Warthog must survive the whole mission. Don't jump out into a live crossfire just to make the swap.
**Find Second Platoon and cross the bridge**
The next large area has a central structure, raised positions and more Covenant armor. Follow the objective toward the platoon's position, working around the building and up toward the bridge route.
You can replenish heavy firepower around the central building. Check the lower area near its steps for the spare Spartan Laser if you're taking on the Wraiths. For ordinary completion, however, don't confuse a convenient fight with a compulsory kill-all objective.
Once you have a safe approach, take the connecting bridge and continue through the passage. You're moving toward the park's upper section, not returning to the initial beach.
**Climb out as the elevator falls**
The path leads into another defended rise. Inspect the turrets before driving up into their overlapping fire. Work up the winding route, leaving enough room to reverse if the next bend exposes a Wraith or heavy weapon.
The collapsing orbital elevator is a spectacular landmark, but keep watching the road. A vehicle can still catch on cover or be disabled while you're looking at the skyline.
The last area has concentrated infantry and heavy fire near the exit. Pick a lane, deal with the threat that can stop you in that lane, and keep moving. A slow completion route can clear this position methodically. A practiced Ghost route can pass much of it, but that takes route knowledge rather than a promise that every enemy will miss.
Reach the break in the park's perimeter and drive out over the final drop into the city. The exit is the mission goal; there isn't a boss waiting for you to hunt down after it.
**What changes on a restrictive run**
For **Classic**, the fight plan above changes completely: solo Legendary, no firing and no grenades. Don't use the Laser, vehicle guns or even a Warthog horn. A Ghost can boost without firing. Learn the route first so that “don't shoot” doesn't become “sit still while everything shoots me.”
For scoring, do the opposite: choose useful engagements and preserve the multiplier by keeping a steady pace. You cannot both bypass nearly all the fighting and expect a normal score run to look the same.
There are no campaign audio logs hidden in this flashback. The damaged drone optics that brought you here are a Rookie clue back in Mombasa Streets.
