**Halo 3 in MCC: Floodgate's Fog skull and the missing-person poster** *Opening-area spoilers.* Floodgate has one campaign skull and no collectible terminal. Its other useful stop is a poster for **Milk Carton**. Both are near the beginning, but deal with the skull first: the Flood carrying it doesn't stand around waiting for you. **Set up the pickup** Start **Floodgate from Mission Start on Normal or harder**. Keep your starting battle rifle. You want a scoped weapon ready before reaching the street, not a shotgun you have to exchange after the carrier is already gone. This is **Skulltaker Halo 3: Fog** in MCC. The original Xbox 360 achievement is simply named Fog; its list and Gamerscore are separate. You don't need to activate Fog to find the physical skull. Activating it afterward removes your motion tracker, which is a separate decision from collecting it. **Watch the right-hand roof** 1. Descend from the starting hill into the damaged industrial area. 2. As you approach the first street corner, look up at the building on your **right**. The radio exchange about the squads reporting is a useful warning that you're at the pickup event. 3. A Flood combat form appears on that roof and jumps across the street. It is carrying the skull. 4. Keep your aim on it and shoot as it starts the crossing or while it is airborne. Killing it or removing its carrying arm can release the skull. 5. Watch the falling object, then move to where it lands in the street between the buildings and pick it up with your normal interaction control. The timing is the awkward part, not a hidden switch. Killing the carrier too far back can leave the skull on a roof instead of the ground. Waiting until it has landed beyond your reach can lose the opportunity just as easily. Don't assume shooting the carrier alone awards the achievement: you still need the physical pickup. If the skull falls somewhere awkward, inspect the ground and nearby edges before deciding it vanished. Avoid throwing grenades around the landing point. That won't improve the situation. **If you miss the jump** Revert only if your available checkpoint is before the carrier's appearance. A checkpoint after it has escaped cannot rewind an earlier event for you. Otherwise restart the mission; this is close enough to the beginning that a clean attempt is much less work than trying to improvise a climb onto inaccessible scenery. In co-op, have everyone ready before advancing into the trigger. One player watching the roof is useful; another sprinting far ahead is not. If tracking a personal unlock, confirm it rather than assuming proximity or a partner's notification proves your own account registered it. **Milk Carton: the poster, not an actual carton** After the street corner, turn into the narrow storage passage. Look in the **first recessed opening on the right**, with the poster lying on the floor near the bodies. The image is a missing-person flyer for Jason Jones. Look directly down at it from close range. MCC's **Milk Carton** achievement is associated with finding this Easter egg; you don't pick it up like a skull. Some community instructions suggest shooting the poster if looking alone doesn't register. Looking first is the straightforward approach, and a delayed notification isn't proof that a particular extra action was required. Community guides warn that split-screen can interfere with this Easter-egg trigger. If it will not register there, revisit the opening in solo before spending time repeating the same co-op setup. The same poster is accessible late in The Storm, approached from the other direction. Floodgate is simply the more convenient cleanup mission. Neither the poster nor Cortana's message inside the crashed ship is one of the terminals for **No Stone Unturned**.
