Halo 2: Uprising — terminal 11 and the Ghost skull
**Halo 2: Anniversary in The Master Chief Collection. Mission spoilers.**
These two stops are close together, but they are on opposite sides of the weapons room. Get the terminal before going inside. Get the skull after coming out the other end. If you remember that order, you won't spend the whole fight searching the wrong doorway.
**Settings and what you're collecting**
- **Ghost skull:** Legendary difficulty. The achievement is **Skulltaker Halo 2: Ghost**.
- **Terminal 11:** any difficulty, using Anniversary graphics. Its achievement is **Scholar**.
- **Librarian toy:** a separate collectible with a different route and achievement. Finding these two does not also collect the toy.
For one trip covering both, start Uprising on Legendary. If you only need the terminal, there is no reason to choose Legendary just for that panel.
The skull's name does not mean you have to kill a particular Ghost driver or finish the level in a Ghost. The vehicle can help you gain height, but it is not a special spawn condition. This isn't an IWHBYD-style hunt where you keep checking whether the skull appeared.
Also, MCC's selectable skull modifiers and its physical skull achievements are different things. Selecting Ghost in the menu is not the same as finding it in the mission, and picking it up isn't a request to turn the modifier on for the rest of your run.
**Terminal first: the pillars above the river basin**
Follow the normal route through the opening forest and interior fighting, then through the vehicle section. You're looking for the river's small waterfall and the broader battle area beyond it, around the start of the **Fight Club** section. This is well after the opening rooms with your friendly Covenant forces.
Clear enough of the area to move around without a Wraith or nearby Brutes firing into your back. The terminal isn't underwater, and you don't need to climb onto the top of the map.
1. From the river approach, make your way up the ramp on the **right** to the raised walkway.
2. Stay on this outer ledge before entering the passage that leads through the weapons stockpile.
3. Look behind the large pillars on the right. The panel is tucked onto the back of a pillar rather than facing you as you approach.
4. In Anniversary graphics, get close to the blue terminal and use the interaction prompt.
One useful check: you should still be outside, above the basin, not standing among the human and Covenant weapons inside. If you have already walked through the armory and are looking up at a doorway for the skull, you have gone past the terminal stop.
Don't count simply seeing the panel as collecting it. Activate it. If you have been playing in classic graphics, switch before searching; the Anniversary terminal is the thing you're looking for, not one of the original level's ordinary wall details.
**Through the armory, then turn around**
Continue into the small connecting rooms. The weapons stockpile is hard to mistake once you're in it: this is the room with both human and Covenant equipment, including heavy weapons. Pick up frag grenades while you're here if you plan to use the grenade-jump route.
Go through the room and leave by its **far doorway**, continuing in the mission's direction. Immediately after exiting, stop and turn around to face that same doorway.
The Ghost skull is on the **high shelf directly above the door you just came through**, in the adjoining L-shaped passage. It is not on a shelf inside the weapons room, and it is not above the exterior entrance near the terminal.
Before trying to jump, clear enemies from your immediate surroundings and let your shields recharge. Don't combine a grenade jump with incoming fire if you can avoid it.
**Reaching the shelf**
The usual solo route is a grenade jump from the passage below the shelf. Face the doorway, position yourself under the ledge, and use a frag explosion to boost your upward jump toward it. Crouch as you reach the lip to help clear it. The goal is to land on the shelf, not throw a grenade at the skull.
There is no useful universal button timing I can give you that replaces watching your grenade and positioning. If the first attempt fails, stop and recover your shields before trying again. Repeatedly throwing grenades while already hurt turns a short detour into a checkpoint reload.
A Ghost brought into position can provide extra starting height. In co-op, another documented option is to bring a crate from the weapons room to the ledge: one player stands on the crate, the other uses that player's head as the next step and crouch-jumps up. Neither option changes the Legendary requirement.
Once on the shelf, move to the skull and use your pickup/interact control. Don't just look at it and jump back down. Check for the collection notification or achievement before leaving the area.
**If you missed one**
If you're still around these connecting rooms, retrace your route while the passage remains accessible. Terminal outside first; skull over the far armory exit second. There is no need to search every doorway in the level.
If you have finished the mission, replay Uprising for the missing item. Keep the difficulty distinction in mind: a terminal-only return can be easier, but a Ghost-skull return needs Legendary. Collecting one does not substitute for collecting the other.
