Halo 2: Gravemind — Anger and Terminal 10 in the first garden Halo 2: Anniversary in The Master Chief Collection. Mission-route spoilers. Gravemind has several outdoor spaces, and “the outdoor area” is an easy way to send somebody searching the wrong one. For these two collectibles, you're looking for the **first garden with dirt, rocks and vegetation after the Marine rescue**. Both are in that area, but they are not on the same surface. Anger is up on the perimeter wall. Terminal 10 is mounted on a wall near the garden's far exit, below that higher skull route. Get them before leaving this garden and you won't have to wonder which of the later bridges and courtyards a guide meant. **Before you start** The skull achievement is **Skulltaker Halo 2: Anger**. Collect it on **Legendary**. Some guides call the object “Angry”; Anger is the name used by the MCC achievement. Terminal 10 earns **Knowledgable**. That spelling is the achievement's name, not a different collectible. It can be unlocked on any difficulty, so a terminal-only cleanup run doesn't require Legendary. Use Anniversary graphics to see and activate the terminal. You do not need the Anger modifier enabled to find the physical skull. Leave extra modifiers off for a straightforward attempt rather than making the opening fights harder while you're learning the route. **Find the correct garden** Proceed through the opening fighting and the prison sequence. Rescue both groups of Marines and return from the detention area. Continue through the onward corridors until you reach the first open garden containing natural ground and vegetation, commonly called the first Valley of Tears. That rescue sequence is a better landmark than “the first time you see the sky.” The mission has earlier exposed architecture, but that isn't this garden. Likewise, don't keep progressing through the later gravity bridges while waiting for a more obvious courtyard. Clear the enemies that can fire into the areas you need to explore. In particular, check elevated sniper positions before standing on an exposed wall. Neither collectible requires you to deliberately leave a Jackal alive as a marker. **Anger: climb the right-hand perimeter** From the garden's entrance, turn **right** and follow the edge toward the wall. Go past the small gravity lift that leads to the Covenant watchtower/sniper position. Look for the dirt mound beside the wall. Use the rising ground to climb up and reach the top of the wall rather than trying to jump vertically from the lowest part of the garden. This is the high perimeter route, not the ordinary path through the center toward the exit. Once up, follow the wall around toward the building you entered from. Watch for a **cloaked Grunt with a fuel rod gun** along this route. Deal with it before committing to the narrow approach. An explosive shot is a much bigger problem when there isn't much room to step aside. Keep following the wall to the skull, which floats above a small circular gravity-lift-like base. Move close and use the pickup interaction to claim it. A few useful checks if you're having trouble: - If you're beside the terminal at normal walking height, you haven't reached the higher skull route yet. - If you're trying to climb the watchtower itself, look back for the adjoining dirt slope and perimeter wall. - If the area is completely different and you've already crossed several of the later gravity bridges, return to the first post-rescue garden if your current route still allows it. - If you're at the right spot but the skull is absent, verify Legendary before spending time experimenting with enemy kill orders. The Grunt is a danger to clear, not a reason to invent a ritual involving every enemy in the garden. Don't throw explosives directly at the pickup spot and then assume an empty-looking ledge means you chose the wrong mission. Once you've claimed Anger, retrace the wall to the climbing point and return to the garden. There is no requirement to carry it through the rest of Gravemind or activate a second mechanism beside it. **Terminal 10: go past the exit, not through it** For the terminal, work across the garden toward the **far exit doorway**. Don't go into that doorway yet. Facing the doorway as though you were about to continue the mission, follow the adjoining wall **to the left**. You're looking along the raised ground near the far side of the garden, behind the position where a Jackal sniper can be stationed. The Covenant terminal is mounted on the wall there. The surrounding purple containers and the nearby exit help distinguish this from the higher perimeter where Anger floats. You are not looking for a loose skull or a glowing object balanced on the top of the wall. Switch to Anniversary graphics, step up to the panel and use the interaction prompt. Confirm **Knowledgable** before continuing. Just passing the panel while running toward the door doesn't activate it. If you collected Anger first, come back down and orient yourself using the normal exit doorway before following these directions. “Left” here is measured while facing that exit from the garden, not while looking back from the skull's ledge. **Don't mix this up with the toy** The Cortana toy is another collectible in this garden and uses the high perimeter area too. Its presence does not mean you've claimed Anger, and collecting the skull doesn't activate Terminal 10. This guide covers the skull and terminal; track their two achievements separately. If you've already moved beyond the garden, an available earlier checkpoint may let you return. Don't assume every earlier checkpoint remains selectable. Otherwise revisit the mission, using an easier difficulty if only the terminal is missing. There is no benefit to repeating a Legendary skull hunt when that achievement is already recorded.
