Halo CE in MCC: Two Betrayals' terminal and Piñata skull **Mission 8: Two Betrayals. These locations are for Combat Evolved Anniversary inside The Master Chief Collection, not Campaign Evolved.** Two Betrayals puts its collectibles at opposite ends of the mission. The terminal is practically beside you when you start. The skull requires a detour with a Banshee near the end, before you finish the last generator. Both can be collected on **Easy**, so you don't need a Legendary run just to fill these gaps. Use Anniversary graphics to find them. Activate the terminal with the interaction prompt, and walk over the skull on foot to claim it. **Terminal 8: don't leave the starting Control Room yet** Once the opening scene ends, deal with the Sentinels attacking you. Then stay inside the Control Room instead of heading out through the door. Walk around the circular platform to the side opposite the main control console. The terminal is on that opposite portion of the walkway. You aren't looking for another room, a hidden floor below the structure, or a generator outside. It's here in the room where the mission begins. Approach it in Anniversary graphics and activate it. The achievement is **Memories**, for Terminal 8 on Two Betrayals. If this is your only missing collectible, it's a quick cleanup: load the mission from the beginning and make this your first stop. Don't replay the entire snowy canyon looking for it. There is an easy mix-up with Assault on the Control Room because the missions share so much scenery. That earlier mission's terminal is outside, beneath the huge sloping structure. **This one is indoors on the circular walkway.** Returning to the old outdoor terminal spot won't get you Memories. **Piñata: save the final generator until after this detour** Continue normally until the late snowy battlefield with the Covenant and Flood fighting, two Wraiths, and the parked Banshees you can use to reach the last generator. The Banshee you need for this route is the one from that late battle, not the first aircraft you encounter earlier in the mission. Reduce the threats around the parked aircraft before climbing in, and avoid destroying the Banshee you're planning to use. Once you have it: 1. Turn back toward the route you used to enter this stretch of the canyon. 2. Fly back toward the large chasm-tunnel entrance rather than going straight into the final generator room. 3. Look **above the tunnel opening**, at the snow-covered ledge on top of the entrance. The skull is up there, not inside the tunnel. 4. Bring the Banshee onto that ledge and stop before getting out. Leave room to stand safely beside it. 5. Search the ledge around the pillar and walk over the skull in Anniversary graphics. Your achievement is **Skulltaker Halo: CE: Pinata**. The achievement list spells it “Pinata,” even though you'll also see the skull written as “Piñata.” Those aren't two different collectibles. If the scenery feels familiar, this is the elevated area associated with the upper Wraith in Assault on the Control Room. That can help orient you, but the tunnel opening underneath is the clearer landmark if you don't remember the earlier fight. Once the skull is collected, get back into your Banshee and head to the final generator objective. You don't need to enable Piñata or start punching enemies to register the hidden skull. Its gameplay effect and its collection achievement are separate things. **Don't strand yourself on the ledge** Keep the aircraft on the ledge while collecting. Jumping out while it is still moving, parking with most of it hanging over the drop, or blasting it around afterward can leave you without the easy return flight. If you lose the Banshee or fall before collecting, check whether your current checkpoint lets you retry the approach. If you've already triggered the mission ending, revisit the mission rather than counting on a return to that ledge from the results screen. That is why this detour comes before the final generator. The final checklist is short: **Memories at the start, Pinata near the end.** Check those individual achievements instead of assuming that finishing Two Betrayals means both collectibles were registered.
