Fight for Fortune: the trophy and card guide
Before you start working through this one, check what you actually own. Fight for Fortune and both expansions were removed from the store. The online trophy is discontinued. This guide covers the remaining single-player work for an existing copy; it isn't a promise that a new account can get 100%.
There are 11 base trophies and four expansion trophies. No platinum. Don't mix this game's Fortune Hunter campaign up with the separate mobile game called Fortune Hunter.
The route through the trophies
1. License to Hunt: finish the tutorial against Doughnut Drake.
2. Professional Fortune Hunter: clear the first challenge for all 17 base opponents.
3. Plundered!: collect every reward from one opponent. Doughnut Drake is the straightforward place to finish all five stars first.
4. Master Fortune Hunter: complete all five stars for all 17 base opponents. That's 85 successful challenges, including those first wins. Expansion rewards have their own trophies.
5. Baby Got Back: finish the base card-backing collection.
6. Avatar Hunter: finish the base avatar collection.
7. Card Collector: finish the base card collection.
8. Behind the Scenes: finish the base background collection. These four collections fill out while you're finishing the base stars; keep taking the remaining reward after each win.
9. Change it Up: alter the faction deck and change all three presentation settings: avatar, card backing and background. Don't stop after changing only the avatar.
10. Over 9000: bank a cumulative 9,001 Fortune in the single-player campaign. Keep banking through the challenge runs; check the menu statistics rather than trying to keep the whole amount unspent in one match.
11. Kitty Got Wet: originally required an online victory. Discontinued. The old online instructions are not a working completion route now.
12. Professional Fortune Hunter II: win once against each of the 12 Among Thieves expansion opponents.
13. Master Fortune Hunter II: finish all their stars, 45 in total.
14. Professional Fortune Hunter III: win once against each of the eight Drake's Deception expansion opponents.
15. Master Fortune Hunter III: finish all their stars, 29 in total.

Base campaign: final-star checklist
These are the last-star conditions, not the requirements for every earlier star. Read the condition when you select each challenge because it changes as you progress.
- Doughnut Drake, Nathan Drake, Elena Fisher, Jorge and Gabriel Roman: win.
- Blaine: win or last six rounds.
- Descendants: the surviving guide gives “win or finish before round ten,” but that wording is unclear. Check the actual final-star condition on your installed copy; I can't verify its intended alternative from the archive alone.
- Dillon: win or last seven rounds.
- Dutch: win or last five rounds.
- Jimbo: win or last nine rounds.
- Victor Sullivan: hold 70 Fortune and finish before round eight.
- Jason Dante: hold 75 Fortune and finish before round ten.
- Mac: hold 95 Fortune.
- Prakoso: hold 125 Fortune.
- Roberto Guerro and José Parrot: win before round eight.
- Atoq Navarro: win before round fifteen.
For the timed challenges, “under eight” isn't eight. Check the turn counter before committing to another defensive turn. The fifth-star requirements are catalogued in the base guide (https://t.co/2PrjYIQpd7); Prakoso is misspelled “Prasko” there.
Among Thieves expansion: final-star checklist
Four stars unless marked otherwise:
- Pema: finish with at least six damage beyond the opponent's remaining health.
- Jeff: seven beyond remaining health.
- Chloe: hold 110 Fortune.
- Schäfer: win.
- Tenzin: win before round eight.
- Flynn: ten excess damage.
- Zorskel, three stars: ten excess damage.
- Tetram: win before round eight.
- Dragan, three stars: win or overkill six cards.
- Draza, three stars: win and overkill seven cards.
- Guardians: ten excess damage.
- Lazarević: win.
Overkill needs one sufficiently large hit. If the rival has one health and the requirement is ten excess damage, prepare an attack of at least eleven. Several little attacks aren't the same thing. Build the hit before taking the finishing swing. Expansion conditions (https://t.co/glpw7yxLN8)
Drake's Deception expansion: final-star checklist
- Cutter, four stars: keep Suited Drake alive for nine rounds.
- Sully, three: win.
- Salim, four: win or play Skelzor.
- Nathan, three: win against his 50 health.
- Rameses, four: destroy the Rameses card. Beating the rival is not the stated target here.
- Chloe, three: win.
- Talbot, four: win or play Suited Sullivan.
- Marlowe, four: win.
The special card conditions matter. Don't spend the whole match building damage against the rival when the objective is protecting or playing a particular card. Expansion conditions (https://t.co/mo9tIicuj2)
How to make the cards work for you
You have five positions. A character attacks the opposing character in its lane; an empty opposing position lets that attack reach the rival. That makes a cheap blocker useful even when its damage is unimpressive. Look at the next attack coming down that lane before spending everything on a stronger card somewhere else. Heroes, villains and mercenaries have separate faction costs. Don't leave yourself unable to field anything because you spent every point in one faction. A low-cost card from another faction can hold a position while you save for a more expensive character.
Fortune is the other part of it. Taking the small immediate bank is safer. Attaching the treasure offers the larger return, but losing its holder can hand that value to the opponent. If the holder is about to die, that isn't a good place to park something valuable. Faction costs and Fortune risk (https://t.co/znQ3E0SIi7)
Weapons increase attack; defensive resources help a card survive. Use the attack increase where it changes the result of the next exchange, rather than putting everything on the card that already wins its fight. For a survival objective, protection matters more than an impressive damage number. For overkill, concentrate enough damage into the required finishing attack. For a hoarding objective, spending your way below the target works against what you're trying to do.
Check the card's effect and its character combinations, not just the attack number. The in-game help explains the effect icons. Golden Abyss progress can strengthen linked cards, but that connection is optional; this is not a requirement to buy or replay another game. Official card explanation (https://t.co/8CWFiwUpL0)
There isn't a separate Nathan skill tree or a campaign weapon-location guide here. The progression is the cards and rewards. A shotgun card is part of that system, not a gun you're finding behind a crate.
