The Lost Legacy: tokens and puzzle solutions This is the part where slowing down actually pays off. The Western Ghats isn't just three forts and a road between them. Get the tokens while you're here and you unlock something useful for the rest of the treasure hunt. All eleven Hoysala tokens These numbers are a route checklist, not an official in-game numbering system. Start at the question-mark shrine in the northeast, with the white monkeys. Use its map plinth to put the token sites on Chloe's map. 1. Shrine: the plinth opens the side door on the left. Take the token inside. 2. Eastern bells: at the ruins southeast of the shrine, locate all seven bells, including the one beside the barred doorway. Shoot them quickly enough that they are all ringing together. Each ringing bell lifts a bar; enter before they settle. 3. Eastern mud slope: approach the pillar ruins from the south. Climb to the grapple point, swing right, jump to the lower platform and cross to the cave on the far side. Follow the tunnel to its altar. 4. Well south of the shrine: clear the ruins north of the river, climb onto the roof and walk out along its beam. Hook the well cover below, then jump off the opposite side so your weight lifts it. Drop into the well. 5. Fountains east of the central tower: activate the rooftop pedestal. Run and grapple around the surrounding platforms, stepping on every fountain before the timer expires, then return to the original pedestal. Plan the loop before starting; don't jump past a water plate without touching it. 6. Southeastern turret ruins: clear the defenders and reinforcements near the mounted gun. Blow open the weak wall beside the turret. The nearby lockbox provides explosives if needed; the token is inside the opened room. 7. Southern grapple chain: east of the token marker, climb the ledges to the projecting beam. Swing across five grapple points without landing, then destroy the weak wall. There is a supply box across the gap if you need a grenade. This is also the natural place for Tarzana. 8. Southwestern elephant lake: face the stone elephant and look just in front, slightly to your right. Dive through the submerged opening and swim into the chamber containing the altar. 9. Cliff above that lake: climb into the western ruins above the elephant area. Destroy the weak wall with a grenade or a surviving propane cylinder. The token is behind it; don't confuse the nearby lockbox treasure with the token. 10. Northwestern waterfall: climb into the room left of the waterfall and solve the horse dial below. Its side door holds the token. 11. Upper-central enemy ruins, north of the tower: inspect the weak wall. If intact, blast it and collect the token. If it is already broken and the alcove is empty, the soldiers took it: open the lockbox on the back of their truck. Return all eleven to the northeast shrine. Collect the Queen's Ruby, which signals nearby treasure, and explore the newly opened monkey area. The bracelet is a detector, not an automatic pickup. Horse dial: how to get the pieces into the right rings Think of the left and right recesses as storage. You need the smallest piece installed first, but the larger pieces block it. Insert the large piece into the outer ring and transfer it to the right recess. Put the medium piece into the middle ring. Bring the large piece back across to the left, then transfer the medium piece to the right. Move the large piece to the right again. With all ring openings facing left, insert the small piece into the innermost ring. Bring the large piece back to the left, insert the medium piece into its ring, then insert the large piece into the outer ring. Rotate the three rings until the horse picture is continuous. Chapter 4: Trident Fort Face away from the wheel door and locate five wheel carvings: ground immediately ahead; ground in the right ruins; wall atop the central building; left wall of the far building; roof of the left building nearest the door. Interact with all five, then return to the mechanism. Chapter 4: Axe Fort Directions are relative to the starting view across each trial. U means forward, D back, L left, R right. Each letter is one jump. - Trial 1: U U R L U D U L U - Trial 2: U R L U L U L U R U - Trial 3: U U D U U U U U D R D U R R U L U For Flawless Gauntlet, all three need to be finished without a puzzle reset. If an axe catches you, restart the checkpoint immediately rather than continuing with the failed attempt. Chapter 5: shadow room Stand at the entrance with the exit directly opposite. Number the twelve perimeter levers clockwise, beginning with the nearest lever on the left. From an untouched puzzle, use 9 → 12 → 2 → 9 → 4 → 6 → 1 → 10. That's eight moves and meets Shadow Theater. If you've already been experimenting, reload the starting checkpoint first; this sequence assumes the original arrangement. Chapter 7: getting the Shiva mechanism running Climb the golden holds on the left to the first crank, turn it and cross the lowered arm toward the right side. Continue to the upper cranks. When Chloe and Nadine turn the paired mechanisms, jump onto the lowered drum arm immediately: it rises again, so ride it upward. Activate the five-spoke mechanism to release water. Slide down, grapple around the statue and reach the other arms. Find the crank that lowers the trident arm and continue the climb to complete the light mechanism. Chapter 7: mirrors Once Shiva's eye projects the beam, rotate the central reflector toward the statues on the left. Turn the first left statue so it sends the light around the corner at a right angle, then move the second left statue into that beam. On the right, interact with the missing statue's loose mirror so Nadine holds it. Move the remaining right-hand statue into the reflected blue beam to finish the circuit. Chapter 7: Ganesh disc The starting dial positions vary, so a fixed number of turns is unreliable. Assemble the figure by aligning the rings from the outside inward, compensating when an inner-ring adjustment carries other rings with it. Use the independently adjustable ring to restore alignment, then rotate the completed image upright. Judge the picture, not a memorized turn count. Chapter 7: Ganesh yields After completing the disc, use the arm-selection controls on the Ganesh statue. Lower all of his arms to match the mural. The answer is surrender, not finding another way to block the axe. That triggers the next scene.
