Golden Abyss — all 56 trophies
Individual collection routes will follow separately. No claim of a personally earned platinum.
Golden Abyss is one where getting through the story and getting everything are two different jobs. The normal collectibles have actual locations. The bounties don't. You can stand in the right chapter and still get duplicates because those come from random enemy drops. Don't spend an hour searching a corner for something that was never sitting in that corner to begin with.
The route
Start on Hard if you're working toward the platinum. Finish the whole campaign, including its prologue, without turning the difficulty down. Then do a complete Crushing run. That is a safe unlock route even though some references disagree about whether Normal also unlocks Crushing. Afterward, use chapter select on a lower difficulty for cleanup. Don't turn a clean difficulty run into a collection of mismatched chapter completions.
Keep the current patched game and your existing save. Bounty progress and weapon totals are cumulative. For farming, check the relevant total after a short test instead of blindly repeating an encounter. Quit to the menu and Continue is the documented alternative where checkpoint restarting fails to retain a streak. Don't use intentional deaths while working on Survivor.
Story, combat and controls
1. Platinum: earn the other 55 trophies below.
2. Charted! — Easy: finish on Easy or a higher qualifying difficulty.
3. Charted! — Normal: finish on Normal or higher.
4. Charted! — Hard: complete Hard. This also covers the lower difficulty awards.
5. Charted! — Crushing: after unlocking it, finish the entire game on Crushing, not just the last boss. Include the prologue.
6. Survivor: 75 kills without Nathan dying. Use a lower difficulty, stay behind solid cover, and keep progressing rather than taking unnecessary jumps. Your partner dying isn't Nathan dying, but don't intentionally fail a battle if you can simply finish it safely.
7. 100 Headshots: 100 headshot kills. Stop firing once the headshot lands so you don't waste ammunition.
8. 250 Headshots: the same cumulative total reaches 250. Short, aimed shots make this easier to track than spraying into a crowd.
9. Run-and-Gunner: 20 hip-fire kills. Shoot without holding the aim button; ordinary aimed kills don't count.
10. Hangman: 20 aimed firearm kills while hanging. Stay on the ledge while the enemy dies; climbing up first changes the action.
11. Bare-knuckle Slugger: 50 melee kills. Use isolated enemies instead of trying to box somebody while three others shoot you.
12. Master Ninja: 50 stealth takedowns. Approach an unaware enemy from behind and use the takedown, rather than starting a normal fight.
13. Steel Fist Master: 20 enemies finished by one punch after gunfire damage. These do not need to be consecutive.
14. Steel Fist Expert: ten of those kills consecutively. Chapter 9's opening on Very Easy is a documented route: one pistol body shot for an ordinary soldier, two for a shotgun soldier, then approach from the front and punch. A rear neck-break is a stealth kill, not the required finish. If a shot kills the target or the punch doesn't finish him, restart the attempt rather than counting it as good.
15. Touch My Rear: on Chapter 1's rope, climb using alternating downward swipes on the rear touchpad. Moving Nathan up the rope with the pad triggers it.
16. Ruffle My Feathers: Chapter 20, during the Sully conversation, tap José whenever he is visible until you hear all eight different remarks. Don't skip the scene. His tail being visible still gives you an opportunity to tap him.
Every weapon trophy
The number is kills with that specific weapon, not ammunition fired. For the common guns, use the weapon whenever it is available and let the totals build through both runs. Save the dedicated farms for whatever is actually missing.
17. 50 Kills: 92FS–9mm: 50 with the standard pistol; aim at unarmored heads.
18. 50 Kills: Micro–9mm: 50 with the machine pistol; work close enough that the spread isn't wasting the magazine.
19. 30 Kills: Wes–44: 30 with the revolver. Take deliberate shots and reload behind cover.
20. 30 Kills: Desert–5: 30 with the heavy pistol. Late-game chapters provide it; don't confuse it with the Wes.
21. 70 Kills: FAL: 70 with the burst rifle. It appears from Chapter 15 onward. Keep the burst on one target.
22. 70 Kills: M4: 70 with the automatic rifle; late-game encounters are the cleanup opportunity.
23. 30 Kills: Moss–12: 30 with the pump shotgun. Use close targets, not distant snipers.
24. 70 Kills: SAS–12: 70 with the later shotgun. Chapter 33 is a documented cleanup chapter; its tally is separate from the Moss.
25. 50 Kills: M79: 50 with the single-shot grenade launcher. Chapter 26 starts with one available; hit clustered enemies and replay the encounter if necessary. This isn't the boat weapon.
26. 50 Kills: GP32–BND: 50 with Sully's launcher in Chapter 21's boat sequence. Replay that section; it also overlaps the Spanish Gold bounty pool.
27. 50 Kills: Dragon Sniper: 50 with the sniper rifle. Take the ranged opportunities the campaign supplies and keep the scope on an exposed target rather than shooting cover.
28. 30 Kills: RPG–7: 30 with the rocket launcher. Chapter 32 has an encounter with rockets and two heavy-gun enemies. Repeating that encounter is a practical cleanup route.
29. 200 Kills: GAU–19: 200 with the heavy rotary gun. Chapter 29 supplies a useful farm after its first heavy gunner: take his gun and use it on the following enemies. Repeat the checkpoint area as needed, separately from a no-death streak.
30. 30 Kills: Mk–NDI: 30 grenade kills. Throw toward clustered enemies or behind their cover. A grenade that only injures somebody is not a kill for this total.
Collections — every trophy, without combining different requirements
31. The Collector: collect your first treasure or mystery clue.
32. Relic Finder: find the Strange Relic in Chapter 15. At the locked wooden door you circle around to open for Chase, climb the wall opposite the door, toward the right. Inspect the relic at the top and finish cleaning it.
33. Secrets of the Kuna: finish that mystery in the journal.
34. Odessa Mining Company: finish that mystery.
35. The Conquistadors: finish that mystery.
36. Proof of Life: finish that mystery.
37. Poisoned Powder: finish that mystery.
38. The Revolution: finish that mystery.
39. Trail of Vincent Perez: finish that mystery.
40. The Sete Cidades: finish that mystery.
41. The Friar's Pilgrimage: finish that mystery.
42. The Lost Civilization: finish that mystery.
43. The Circle of Heaven: finish that mystery.
44. The Ring of Earth: finish that mystery.
45. Treasure: Turquoise Glyphs: complete the glyph collection.
46. Treasure: Jade Carvings: complete the jade collection.
47. Treasure: The Menagerie: complete the animal collection.
48. Treasure: Minor Deities: complete the deity collection.
49. Puzzle Master: complete every puzzle, including optional collection puzzles, not just the story's gates.
50. Rub One Out: complete every charcoal rubbing. Finish each rubbing rather than leaving a nearly completed image.
51. Paparazzo: complete all photo opportunities. The framing/zoom must register the required photograph; just opening the camera isn't enough.
Use the companion chapter routes for these. Check the journal after every chapter. A missing photograph or rubbing can also leave a mystery unfinished, so don't assume a missing mystery means a loose treasure on the ground.
All five bounty sets
52. Bounty: Arcana: 21 different cards, Chapters 2–3. Chapter 2's ambush after meeting Chase is a compact repeatable encounter.
53. Bounty: Pieces of Silver: 30 different pieces, Chapters 5–11. Chapter 9's opening combat gives a repeatable early pool.
54. Bounty: Cádiz: 30 different cards, Chapters 15–19. Chapter 17's turret defense is a useful repeatable pool.
55. Bounty: Spanish Gold: 30 different coins, Chapters 21–27. Use Chapter 21's boat combat to combine this with the GP32 trophy.
56. Bounty: Gemstones: 30 different stones, Chapters 28–34. Chapter 29's GAU encounter lets you combine the two grinds.
These are unique-item sets, not simply 21 or 30 kills. Duplicates don't finish missing entries. The game awards drops from enemy kills, and they can be farmed offline. Old guides discuss Near trading; don't make an obsolete service the foundation of a current platinum route. No bounty has a guaranteed number of attempts. Check the collection, keep the save, and stop farming a set once its trophy registers.
