Uncharted 2 — the trophy guide, with the versions kept straight Before getting into this, check which version you're playing. The PS3 original and PS4 remaster do not have the same trophy list. The original has 48 base trophies and 23 multiplayer DLC trophies. The remaster has 45 base trophies and eight Extended Collection trophies. Those extra eight are not required for the remaster's platinum. The PS3 servers closed September 3, 2019. If Thrillseeker or Buddy System is still missing, a fresh PS3 platinum is blocked. If you earned both before the shutdown, the remaining offline base trophies can still be finished. Don't spend hours trying to find a multiplayer lobby that isn't there anymore. The remaster's base list avoids that problem. Naughty Dog shutdown notice (https://t.co/PP5rd9it9t) A sensible order Do the story and treasure sweep together if you want, but don't force the harder combat trophies into the same run. Finish every chapter on one difficulty without lowering it. Crushing in the remaster is available from the start; on PS3 you first unlock it by finishing Hard. A higher qualifying completion covers the lower difficulty awards. Then use chapter select for the 101 pickups, weapon totals and combat cleanup. Keep your completed-game save and its statistics. For anything requiring a streak, actually perform an uninterrupted streak rather than assuming a checkpoint reload preserves it. Do the three chapter timers in Practice Speed Run mode, and leave Brutal and the full speedrun for afterward if you want the Extended set too. Every PS4 base trophy Story: five - Platinum: complete the other 44 base trophies. - Charted! – Easy, Normal, Hard, Crushing: four separate awards for completing the campaign at the named difficulty or higher without changing difficulty downward. Treasures: eight - First Treasure: 1. - Novice Fortune Hunter: 20. - Intermediate Fortune Hunter: 40. - Proficient Fortune Hunter: 60. - Expert Fortune Hunter: 80. - Master Fortune Hunter: 100. - Relic Finder: the Strange Relic in Chapter 5's sewer. - Master Thief Collection: all 100 ordinary treasures and the relic. That means 101 pickups. The separate chapter-by-chapter treasure guide covers every one. Check the chapter counts when cleaning up; don't just walk the same whole level again hoping the missing one appears. Combat: fifteen - 20 Headshots / 100 Headshots / 250 Headshots: three cumulative thresholds. Use a precise pistol and settle the reticle instead of spraying. - Headshot Expert: five consecutive headshot kills. Pick ordinary enemies, not a mixed crowd of helmets and rushing armored soldiers. - Bare-knuckle Brawler / Bare-knuckle Slugger: 20 and 50 melee kills. - Bare-knuckle Expert: ten consecutive melee kills. Do this separately from weapon cleanup. - Dyno-Might Master: five enemies in one explosion. Chapter 6's opening truck group is a useful target: wait for the group, then hit it with a grenade or an unlocked RPG. One explosion has to do the work, not five separate blasts. - Hangman: 20 shooting kills while hanging from a ledge. - Grenade Hangman: ten grenade kills while hanging. Get into the hanging position before throwing; a normal cover throw isn't the same thing. - Run-and-Gunner: 20 hip-fire kills without aiming. - Steel Fist Master: 20 gunfire-weakened enemies finished with one punch. - Steel Fist Expert: ten of those one-punch finishes consecutively. Chapter 4 on Easy gives ordinary enemies to work with. Use a little body fire, then punch; if the gun kills them or the melee needs multiple hits, the attempt didn't meet that condition. Damage varies, so don't blindly apply one bullet count to every weapon and difficulty. - Master Ninja: 50 melee attacks from behind. The museum and early jungle sections give repeatable stealth opportunities. - Survivor: 75 kills without dying. Use an easier cleanup run, keep cover and abandon the temptation to rush the final few kills. Weapons: thirteen The number is the required kill total with that weapon: - 30 Kills: Mk-NDI — grenades. - 30 Kills: Desert-5. - 30 Kills: Wes-44. - 50 Kills: Dragon Sniper. - 50 Kills: 92FS-9mm. - 50 Kills: M4. - 50 Kills: Micro-9mm. - 30 Kills: Moss-12. - 30 Kills: RPG-7. - 50 Kills: SAS-12. - 20 Kills: Pistole. - 50 Kills: M32-Hammer. - 50 Kills: FAL. Use the weapon whenever its ammunition appears during the story, then clean up the scarce ones after reward weapons become available. Check your statistics between attempts. A weapon existing in the game does not automatically mean it has a kill trophy: there is no remaster GAU-19 trophy, for example. Photo and timers: four - New Paparazzi in Town: enter Photo Mode. - Staying Dry: Chapter 3, Borneo, under 6:30. - Quick Jaunt Through a Warzone: Chapter 5, Urban Warfare, under 7:30. - Bullet Train From Hell: Chapter 13, Locomotion, under 7:00. Select Practice Speed Run and an easy difficulty. Don't collect treasures during these attempts. In Borneo, learn the explosive-placement route and keep the compulsory fights short. In Urban Warfare, keep moving through the truck chase and climbing sections instead of exploring side streets. On the train, remember which carriages require going outside or onto the roof; most wasted time comes from trying the wrong door or stopping for unnecessary loot. Check the timer at the chapter finish, not a phone stopwatch. All eight PS4 Extended trophies - Charted! – Brutal: finish every chapter on Brutal without lowering the difficulty. Crushing unlocks it. This is separate from platinum; enemies can kill you extremely quickly, so learn the spawn angles and keep scarce ammunition for dangerous targets. - Supernatural Born Killers: kill five Guardians with the Dragon Sniper. Use Chapter 25 and a legitimately unlocked weapon reward if needed. The final killing hit must come from the sniper, not a crossbow or resin explosion. - Cosplay: choose an unlocked non-Drake character skin, then kill an enemy. - YOLO Among Thieves: finish Chapter 26 on Normal or harder without dying. Keep moving around the arena, bait Lazarević beside blue resin and shoot the resin when he is close. Repeat rather than trying to win through direct bullet damage. If you die, start a clean chapter attempt. - Too Fat Too Furious: complete a Continuous Speed Run using Doughnut Drake. Check the skin remains equipped after loading or restarting. - Take Me to Your Leader: compare statistics with a friend through the game's statistics interface. This depends on the relevant account/network comparison functionality; I'm not treating it as a verified offline unlock. - Needer for Speeder: finish a complete speedrun below 3 hours 30 minutes. Use Continuous Speed Run; adding separate chapter best times is not the requirement. This can share a run with Doughnut Drake if the skin requirement is maintained. - Cheat Hard to Cheat Harder: activate an unlocked tweak from the bonuses menu. Do this on cleanup, not by assuming every tweak is permitted during a fresh difficulty clear or timed run. PS3: the complete base-list differences The following shared trophies retain the PS4 requirements above: Platinum; Charted! Easy/Normal/Hard/Crushing; 20/100/250 Headshots; Headshot Expert; Run-and-Gunner; Hangman; Grenade Hangman; Bare-knuckle Brawler/Slugger/Expert; Master Ninja; Steel Fist Master/Expert; Survivor. That's 19 trophies including platinum and the four difficulty awards. Twelve collectible trophies: First Treasure1; Apprentice Fortune Hunter10; Novice20; Cadet30; Intermediate40; Practiced50; Proficient60; Professional70; Expert80; Crack90; Master100; Relic Finder. PS3 does not have the remaster's separate Master Thief Collection trophy. Collect all101 anyway and you won't have to rely on how the relic contributes to the100 counter. Fourteen weapon trophies: 50 Kills:92FS-9mm; 50 Kills:Micro-9mm; 30 Kills:Wes-44; 30 Kills:Desert-5; 20 Kills:Pistole; 70 Kills:FAL; 70 Kills:M4; 50 Kills:Dragon Sniper; 30 Kills:Moss-12; 70 Kills:SAS-12; 50 Kills:M32-Hammer; 30 Kills:RPG-7; 200 Kills:GAU-19; 30 Kills:Mk-NDI. The FAL, M4 and SAS targets are70 here, not50. Triple Dyno-Might! requires three enemies in one explosion, replacing the remaster's five-enemy trophy. Thrillseeker required one completed competitive multiplayer game; Buddy System required one completed cooperative multiplayer game. Both are unavailable through the closed official PS3 service. That is 19 shared +12 treasure +14 weapons +1 explosion +2 online =48. Photo Mode, the three chapter timers and the Extended Collection set belong to the remaster, not this list. PS3 multiplayer DLC — all 23, now unavailable through the official service I'm including these so the list is actually complete, not to send anyone off trying to unlock them now.
