Gears of War 3 — all 132 original ribbons
Companion to I've Done it All! These are the original combat ribbons, not later event ribbons. Numbers follow the original Stats & Awards grid, left-to-right. DBNO means down but not out.
Start by checking the greyed-out entries in Stats & Awards. Don't grind something you already have. Use private Versus with bots filling the empty slots; for Horde, Beast and Arcade bring another player/controller, with larger groups for the team-healing/revival requirements. If all ribbons predate your Fenix Rising installation, finish a full qualifying match to trigger the achievement check. Setup guidance (https://t.co/B8fGuuv25y)

Make the session manageable
Versus: separate the tasks into TDM weapon work, CTL leader work, Wingman and KOTH. A second controller lets you practice timing away from the objective while bots keep the lobby full. Finish the match for end-screen awards. Don't pursue contradictory results together: a deathless match cannot also earn the most-deaths ribbon, and Under the Radar needs a deliberately uneventful match.
Beast: arrange the Kantus ribbons before assembling the group. Team Shaman needs five players total; Team Savior needs four. The three revive targets must be down simultaneously, not killed. For the Wretch ribbon, have allies wait for your scream before finishing stunned targets. Unlocking the final tier is not a reason to leave immediately: spawn a final-tier creature and complete the wave.
Horde: I Gotcha needs a full five-person team. Revive each of the other four within one wave. Split the ghost-camera task from your survival tasks because you have to be dead to use it. Long Hauler is one sitting; the base game's fifty-wave achievement allowing cumulative wave credit does not relax this ribbon's session requirement.
Arcade: finish chapters with a partner. Split leaderboard jobs: one player picks up the ammo, the other avoids it; one deals initial damage, the other finishes targets. Rotate on the next run. Keep a little checklist of what actually appeared rather than assuming the action counted.
These setups are planning advice synthesized from the listed conditions, not claims of personally tested sessions. See the linked methods for alternate approaches. No live online-lobby access has been verified.
A few awkward ones, explained
- No Smoking: arrange a private opponent, down them twice and apply the smoke tag as they recover from the second down. This is a lethal-tag setup, not an instruction to throw ordinary smoke at a healthy enemy. Player-tested method (https://t.co/a2e7JZJ8aY)
- Trick Shot: align two enemies so the charged Torque shot passes through the nearer head into the second target. A meatshield and its captor are another reported arrangement. Alternate method (https://t.co/QJoNbekY6E)
- Dewormer: use the Drudges during Cole's early Hanover/Stranded-camp route. Wait for mutation, detach the Headsnake, then kill the separated creature; destroying the attached head is not the same objective. Encounter discussion (https://t.co/AFItmNeMNy)
- Ole!/Roadblock: practice a partner charging across your path rather than directly into you. One needs the grenade tag, the other the Sawed-Off interruption; don't try to satisfy both with the same attack.
- Sacrifice: let the enemy hold a ring, get downed beside it and crawl in alone. A teammate breaking it first defeats your attempt.
- Indigestion: your Wild Ticker must swallow a grenade before its fatal explosion kills an enemy. Ask your partner to provide the grenade; keep the intended target alive until you are in range.
- Under the Radar: avoid first death, last survivor, highest/lowest extremes and every intentional combat feat. Check the result rather than treating a failed attempt as a missing unlock bug.
