Invictus, post 1: confirmed details Codename Invictus is Assassin’s Creed’s upcoming PvP multiplayer project, being developed at Ubisoft Montreal by a team that includes For Honor veterans. That is confirmed. It doesn’t automatically mean its combat will work like For Honor or that it will simply bring back Brotherhood’s multiplayer unchanged. Ubisoft’s March update (https://t.co/EyG9zgcyJ7) The October 29 update adds something more useful than just a codename. Ubisoft says hundreds of players tried an early prototype in a private session. The company says players liked the parkour, vertical maps, teamplay, and different Assassin’s Creed characters with their own skills and playstyles. It also says the feedback asked for more of what makes Assassin’s Creed recognizable, and the team has been changing the game in response. That’s Ubisoft’s account of its test, rather than an independent review of a finished game. Latest official update (https://t.co/s7Ya262boD) We still don’t have a confirmed release date or a final public breakdown of every mode, character, and rule. I’d rather see those details than decide what the entire game is from one early screenshot or a nickname people gave it online.
