Jade, post 1: confirmed details After going through the games already released, I wanted to look at the three upcoming Assassin’s Creed projects separately. There’s a lot of information floating around, and I want to keep what the developers have actually announced separate from leaks and guesses. Starting with Assassin’s Creed Jade. This is the mobile open-world action RPG being published by Level Infinite for iOS and Android. Ubisoft’s announcement places it in the third century BC, during the first unified Chinese empire. That puts its historical setting after Odyssey but before Origins and the formation of the Hidden Ones. Ubisoft announcement (https://t.co/78hWexGoQk) The publisher describes the player as Xia, the adopted child of Wei Yu. The story begins with a friend’s betrayal and a search for revenge that uncovers a larger threat. The places named include the Great Wall and Xianyang, and the conflict involves the Xiongnu and conspiracies within this period of Chinese history. Level Infinite’s game page (https://t.co/CfCbPz7ORv) A closed beta was announced for August 3, 2023. That was a test, not the full release. Contemporary beta announcement coverage (https://t.co/SOGWMhNUnx) As of this research on October 29, 2026, Level Infinite still lists the release as TBD. Ubisoft also included Jade among its projects in development in its March update. I haven’t found a confirmed launch date or a confirmed PC or console release. This is a new story built for mobile, not the same thing as those older Gameloft adaptations. The setting and where it sits in the series’ history are already interesting without filling in the missing details ourselves.
