Chronicles: China has a pretty short achievement list, but some of it takes real practice. The big mistake would be trying to get the combat kills and perfect stealth scores in the same run. Keep those jobs separate. Start with the story, learn the tools, and pick up the upgrades you can. Then use Plus for the clean-up. Plus Hard also qualifies for the second-playthrough achievement, but it isn't required for that one. Here’s the whole checklist: 1. Vengeance Begins: Kill Gao Feng. Story progression. 2. The Assassin’s Return: Finish China’s story. 3. The Way It’s Meant To Be: Finish every memory on Plus or Plus Hard. 4. Faster Than The Flame: Burning-port escape, under five minutes. 5. Not A Scratch: Sequence 8 ambush, kill everyone without taking damage. 6. Concubine Savior: Rescue every concubine in Sequence 9. 7. Master Of Stealth: Sequence 11, never spotted. 8. The Invisible Woman: Earn 30 Shadow Gold patrol ratings. 9. Now You See Me…: Lose 30 alerts. 10. No Witnesses: 100 assassinations. 11. Low Blow: 25 sliding assassinations. 12. Smash And Stab: 100 combat kills. 13. Clean Mind: Conceal 50 bodies. 14. Enemy Of My Enemy: Have enemy projectiles hit 50 enemies. 15. I Fear No One: 100 Helix Kills. 16. Tell Me A Story: Every scroll chest. 17. Shiny: Every Animus shard. 18. The Completionist: Meet every memory’s top-score or speed requirement. For Shadow Gold, avoid unnecessary kills and being spotted. Use the whistle to pull someone toward a safe position, or a noise dart to pull them away from the route you actually want. Check the rating as each section ends. A completed level and a perfect level are two different things here. The Completionist also needs the secondary objectives. Mandatory targets are a different matter from ordinary patrol guards, so don't skip a required assassination because you're trying to avoid killing anyone. Plus scores differ from Normal scores. Make sure any score list you use matches your mode. For the burning port, learn the route before chasing the clock. The five-minute achievement is more forgiving than the separate Completionist target. Don't assume unlocking one proves you've done the other. For the Sequence 8 ambush, put survival ahead of speed. Watch the attack direction, block, and take a clear opening instead of swinging into several enemies. For Sequence 11, treat a clean escape after detection as a failed stealth attempt, not a successful invisible run. For the projectile achievement, put another guard between you and the shooter, then dodge the incoming attack. This is a good one to work on separately from a stealth score. Likewise, handle combat kills, slide kills and alert escapes during clean-up instead of wrecking a run you wanted to keep clean. Helix Kill unlocks after the first story completion. Fill the meter, block an attack and activate it, then use the killing strikes. Follow your platform's displayed controls rather than assuming the same buttons apply everywhere. For bodies, actually move them into concealment. For the two collectible achievements, check the memory totals instead of assuming a story completion means you found everything.
