Jack the Ripper — story checklist Jack the Ripper has its own completion checklist. Finishing the story isn't the same thing as finishing the DLC. The optional objectives, side activities and collectibles all matter for Ripperologist. Here's the story list in order: 1. Prologue: no optional objective. 2. Autumn of Terror: no optional objective. 3. The Unfortunates: frighten three enemies and hijack the carriage. Don't destroy the carriage you're supposed to take. 4. The Lady Talks: frighten ten enemies; escape without being detected. 5. Letters of Intent: stop the lookout raising the alarm. 6. Prisoners: frighten four enemies aboard the prison boats; complete the infiltration without detection. 7. Loose Ends: no optional objective. 8. The Mother of All Crimes: don't kill anybody. That restriction comes up in two separate sections, so don't relax after the first one clears. 9. Family Reunion: no optional objective. 10. Live by the Creed, Die by the Creed: stay undetected and neutralize Jack's three criminals. Don't treat the nonlethal objectives like normal combat cleanup. Check what the objective actually asks for before attacking. A successful assassination can still ruin a challenge that said not to kill. For the side activities, work through these categories rather than assuming the story ending cleared everything: bounty hunts, brothel attacks, Walk of Shame, fight clubs, Carriage of Justice, Lost Women, Ripper Letters, cargo hijacks and Jack's Lieutenants. The fight clubs are Mitre Square and Cock Lane. The brothels are Buck's Row, Ludgate Hill and Gracechurch Street. The three letter missions are Dear Boss, From Hell and Saucy Jack. Cargo jobs are Egyptian Spoils and Opium Cargo. Keep the DLC's collectibles separate from the main London map. Finishing the base game's collection doesn't finish this one. The Last Maharaja — ten-mission guide The Last Maharaja gives Duleep Singh more room than he gets in the main story. It's ten missions, with the twins helping him deal with stolen wealth, intercepted letters and the people trying to keep him quiet. If you're working through it for full synchronization, here's the order and what to watch for. Story spoilers below. 1. A Good Shot Meet Henry and Duleep at the Buckingham Palace garden party. Win the shooting contest, then investigate the extra gunshot. The optional objective is the best score. Don't rush the aim just because the timer is running. Afterward, follow the investigation through the people at the party and the discarded weapon, then pursue the shooter. 2. Information Intercepted Recover Duleep's missing letters from a convoy and a train. Recruit three Rooks on the street and another three by the station. Those are two separate checks, not three recruits for the entire mission. Set up the help before committing to each ambush, then return the letters to Henry. 3. Stealing from the Poor Evie and Duleep trace stolen Punjabi wealth through an accountant. Start with the pub, then follow the lead to the bank. The optional objective is staying undetected. Don't turn the search into an open fight just because you've found the right building. 4. A Golden Path Find the gold shipment, steal its carriage and get it away from the Templars. The extra requirements are looting the Templar thief and killing all four Templars on the train. Keep an eye on those specific targets during the chase instead of assuming that surviving the ride is enough. 5. A Good Send-Off Get the gold aboard the ship and protect it on the Thames. Kill eight snipers at close range, then eliminate eight Templars without being detected. The first objective means a distant gunshot isn't enough. The second means slowing down again once the fight moves to the docks. 6. Off the Rails Your own train gets stolen. Catch it using Duleep's carriage and get aboard. For the optional objective, throw four enemies off the roof. Don't finish every opponent in the middle of a carriage and leave yourself nobody to throw. 7. Much Ado About Drinking Jacob's search for information turns into a very messy night out. Retrace it, investigate the spilled drink and accuse the right person. The answer is Cornelius himself. Examine the evidence before choosing an accusation, then finish getting him home and recover the information about the diamond. 8. The Great Jewel Heist Jacob enters the Tower of London gala while Evie handles the outside. Stay undetected and use the crates to knock out two Templars together. Use Duleep's distraction to get upstairs. The diamond isn't sitting where you expect: pickpocket it back from Duleep, then complete the handoff to Evie and escape. 9. The Sandman Investigate the foundry and destroy the sleeping-gas shipment. Use the gas crates to knock out eight Templars. Get the required knockouts before destroying your remaining opportunities. Follow the messenger afterward to uncover who's behind the attacks. 10. The Final Showdown Help Duleep confront Ellsworth. The optional objective is avoiding alarms. The mission moves from the docks to a nighttime meeting at Lambeth Cemetery. As Evie, clear the guards without exposing yourself during the conversation, then intervene when Ellsworth threatens Duleep. That covers the mission order and every optional objective. It isn't a choice-based ending guide: Duleep's decision at the end is part of the story, not a hidden ending you unlock by picking a different answer. Syndicate — the Dreadful Crimes answers Spoilers all the way through this one. These are the people to accuse, plus the steps that can make an investigation feel stuck. This is the quick answer sheet, not a list of every clue in every room. - A Simple Matter of Murder: Tom Coulton. - The Case of the Conflicted Courtship: Dr. Trevor Alton. - Death Stalks a Colonel: Samuel. - The Mystery of the Twice-Dead Professor: Professor Silas. - Locked In… To Die!: Mr. Golden. - The Fiend of Fleet Street: Tobias Jeffers, at the leather shop. - The Most Hated Man in London: Mrs. Ashton. - Next Up: Murder!: Peter. - Conjuring Up a Killing!: Douglas. - Murder at the Palace!: Henry Raymond. If the accusation option hasn't appeared, check the newly available conversation topics. Finding something doesn't always finish that part of the case; somebody may have a new answer about it. The first case has a wrinkle: the initial accusation against Dooley opens the next stage. Keep following the footprints and cigarette evidence. Coulton is the final answer. Next Up: Murder: the passenger-carriage clue is on the roof. Finish the train interviews, then revisit anyone marked with a new exclamation point. Conjuring Up a Killing: check the alley beside Asquith's house for cigarette ends. Follow the tobacco trail, investigate the office and Lady Ursula's house, then return to question the people at the psychic's house. Murder at the Palace: use a smoke bomb on the note at Artie's yard to reveal the hidden writing. In the deduction sequence choose Diversion → Master Thief → Observe. Finish the escape/rescue sequence after that; choosing the answers isn't the end of the mission. Sources: culprit checklist (https://t.co/pJsRnqYePk), investigation steps (https://t.co/Go6vdF7GQq). Syndicate — the smaller DLC missions These don't need five separate posts. They're the smaller Syndicate extras, so I'm keeping the useful parts together: what to do, what can trip you up, and which optional objectives actually matter. Darwin's Orchid Beat the thugs to the docks, clear the ship, and look under the stairs for the orchid. Take it back in a carriage. Those are the two optional conditions: arriving first and using the carriage for the return. Don't confuse this with the separate Darwin mission involving hallucinogenic flowers. Route (https://t.co/JLTmrTCgM1), optional objectives (https://t.co/3xFujbfnxe). Our Mutual Friend Find Hammon at the station with Eagle Vision, escort him out, and protect him from the attackers. Put the designated corpse in the carriage, take it to the bridge, and throw it into the Thames. Continue to the next stop and follow Hammon downstairs. There aren't additional full-sync conditions for this mission. Route (https://t.co/JLTmrTCgM1), objective checklist (https://t.co/3xFujbfnxe). An Artful Plan Drive Hammon to Lambeth, then find Bella at Waterloo Station. Kidnap her, get her past the police, and deliver her to Hammon. Now you have to lose the staged fight, but not by standing there doing absolutely nothing: land a single hit between his combinations, then let him knock you down. Return to Dickens and Darwin afterward. No extra full-sync condition here either. Route (https://t.co/JLTmrTCgM1), objective checklist (https://t.co/3xFujbfnxe). Runaway Train Speak with the train driver, then visit the merchant for the replacement flywheel. Bob interrupts that errand because the train is out of control. Catch it, speak to the driver, and put out the fires while he works on the brakes. Return to the locomotive when prompted and operate the brake lever after he is hurt. The optional objective is taking no fire damage. Reaching the end isn't enough if you've already burned yourself. Keep the fire challenge in view while moving between the carriages. Mission and objective (https://t.co/Jz27x7eZuF). A Long Night Out on the Town Start with the train engineer and investigate Bob's disappearance at the pub. Interview the people there, then follow the alley clues: vomit, the damaged watch, and blood. Rescue Bob and lead him away. When the later attack injures him, put him in a carriage; the route eventually takes you to Agnes rather than leaving him at the hospital. Mission (https://t.co/Ms0Hwv9Uos). The avoid open conflict condition applies while escorting Bob. Walk slowly past the patrols, keep your distance, and don't sprint him straight through the guards.
