Syndicate achievements and trophies
49 base objectives plus seven Jack the Ripper objectives = 56 Steam/Xbox achievements. PlayStation adds the base-game Master Assassin platinum.
Syndicate is a good one to break into a few jobs: story challenges, taking over London, collectibles and the combat counters. Keep an eye on the awkward counters while you're playing instead of leaving every one until the city is empty.
Story and London
The first nine are the sequence completions:
1. A Spanner in the Works: Sequence 1.
2. A Simple Plan: Sequence 2.
3. A Modern Babylon: Sequence 3.
4. A Quick and Reliable Remedy: Sequence 4.
5. The Perils of Business: Sequence 5.
6. A Run on the Bank: Sequence 6.
7. All Is Fair in Politics: Sequence 7.
8. The Joys of Freedom: Sequence 8.
9. Shall We Dance?: Sequence 9.
10. Mentor: All main memories at 100% sync. Read the optional objectives before going in, then replay anything your tracker says is missing.
11. The War at Home: Finish the World War I simulation. This is separate from finishing the Victorian main story.
12. Street Sweeping: Conquer every London borough. Work through the activities leading to the gang war; visiting the borough doesn't count.
13. Flawless Conqueror: Clear three Gang Strongholds with their optional conditions. Check the conditions before starting a fight.
14. Unqualified Success: Finish three Templar Hunts and their challenges. A dead target without the required approach isn't enough.
15. Thieftaker: Deliver three bounty targets alive. Kidnap them rather than turning every bounty into an assassination.
16. Children's Aid Society: Finish five Child Liberation memories. Complete the actual activity, not just the guards outside.
17. Ordinary Criminal: Finish twenty crowd events. Do the small incidents during normal travel so you don't have to hunt them all later.
18. Treasure Hunter: Complete ten raids of any type as Jacob or Evie. Track completed raids, not only cargo you've spotted.
19. Guardian Angel: Successfully escort ten friendly cargo shipments. This is protection work, not stealing ten enemy shipments. Watch for the friendly escort opportunity and keep it alive through completion.
20. Bare-Knuckle Champion: Win three different Fight Clubs. Repeating the same club three times doesn't meet the wording.
21. A Quarter-Furlong at a Time: Win three different street races. Pick another event after your first win rather than farming one route.
22. A Broad Base: Loyalty level one with every Associate. Don't ignore a whole activity family because you prefer another.
23. Bedfellows, Strange or Otherwise: Maximum loyalty with one Associate. Concentrate on one contact's work for this, then return to the broader checklist.
Characters, gang and equipment
24. Friends at My Back: Recruit five allies together. Build up the recruitment capacity, then assemble the full group.
25. Keys to the City: Buy every gang upgrade. These are separate from Jacob and Evie's personal skills.
26. Bartitsu: Every Fight skill as Jacob. Spending points on Evie won't complete Jacob's tree.
27. Phantom: Every Stealth skill as Evie. Check her menu specifically.
28. Wonder of the Age: Reach level ten. Spend the skill points you're earning rather than leaving them unused.
29. Multitalented: Earn ten perks. Check the perk conditions and work on different actions instead of assuming ordinary levelling buys them.
30. Artisan: Craft a level-ten item. You need its schematic and materials, not just a level-ten character. Check the crafting entry before hunting resources.
Collectibles and viewpoints
31. Language of Flowers: Every pressed flower.
32. Cerevisaphile: Every beer brand.
33. Student of History: Every historical poster, shown as illustrations in the collectible system.
34. A Life in Letters: Every royal letter.
35. Godlike: Unlock every Secret of London. Collect the music boxes, then finish the process at Reuge's Vault; don't stop just because the last box is picked up.
36. Chimney Sweep: Synchronise all London viewpoints.
Keep these categories separate in the tracker. Merchant maps help with several collectible types, but don't assume one purchased map covers the music boxes and royal letters as well. The full location directions are a separate guide.
Combat and travel counters
37. Blade in the Crowd: Fifty assassinations. Keep these distinct from ordinary combat kills.
38. Blade from Above: Twenty air assassinations from ziplines. Set up the zipline above a target and use the assassination prompt while on it.
39. Queensbury Rules: A forty-hit combo. Fight clubs give you room to build it. Protect the chain with counters instead of rushing a hit and getting interrupted.
40. Whirlwind of Death: Fifty multi-finishers. Weaken several nearby enemies before triggering the finishing move. Finishing one enemy at a time won't build the right counter.
41. Most Unsporting: Shoot fifty enemies before they fire at you. Use the countershot prompt when an enemy lines up a shot; ordinary early shooting isn't the method to rely on.
42. Look Out Below: Three enemies killed by one hanging barrel stack. Wait until the group is underneath before shooting the release. Sequence 4, Memory 2 has an early opportunity with three guards coming together.
43. Opium Scourge: Affect four enemies at once with a hallucinogenic dart. Use a fire source to spread the effect across the group. Four separate darts aren't simultaneous.
44. Needle in a Haystack: Five kills from the same haystack. Lure suitable guards over, keep the kills hidden, and keep using that particular haystack.
45. No Ticket: Kick fifty enemies off trains. Fight near an edge where the finishing move can throw them off. Killing fifty guards somewhere on a train isn't the same requirement.
46. Furious: Destroy twenty vehicles by ramming. Use the carriage's attack and collision opportunities rather than shooting the driver and assuming that counts.
47. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU: Flip five vehicles by shooting their horses. This is a separate in-game challenge from ramming vehicles.
48. You Wouldn't Steal a Policeman's Helmet: Hijack twenty police vehicles. Ordinary carriages don't count toward that number.
49. Without a Grudge: Destroy 5,000 breakable objects with a carriage. Yes, five thousand. Build it into your travel by breaking roadside objects, and check progress before spending ages grinding a route that isn't counting.
Jack the Ripper
50. A well-kept secret: Finish the expansion's story and defeat Jack.
51. The new terror of Whitechapel: Unlock half of the DLC skills. Use the expansion's own progression, not the main game's completed trees.
52. Brutal: Thirty fully completed Brutal Takedowns. Finish the sequence rather than interrupting the takedown early.
53. Are you scared yet?: Frighten 200 enemies. Make use of the fear tools and visible takedowns instead of treating every encounter like an ordinary assassination.
54. Put the fear of you into them: Make a frightened enemy accidentally kill someone else. Leave an opportunity for panic to cause friendly fire instead of immediately killing the whole group yourself.
55. Keep calm and carry on: Kill a Brute while he's calming panicked allies. Watch for that specific action; killing any Brute in a frightened crowd isn't automatically the same thing.
56. Ripperologist: Reach 100% sync in Jack the Ripper. Finish the DLC's remaining activities, optional requirements and collectibles, not only its last story mission.
PlayStation also has Master Assassin, the platinum for the main game's other trophies. Jack the Ripper adds its own seven. The Last Maharaja doesn't add another achievement set to this list, even though it is separate playable story content.
None of these objectives requires a multiplayer partner. That's different from whether your particular PC launcher needs an account or connection to start the game.
