Dead Kings: all seven Suger's Legacy riddles These are the answers, so stop here if you want to solve the riddles yourself. Use Eagle Vision at each landmark, and interact with the symbol before moving to the next one. The seven chains lead to the Eagle of Suger sword. I. Nativitatis et Mortis 1. Church entrance: symbol immediately left of its doors. 2. Léon's orphanage: wall beside the well to its north. 3. Cemetery: tree stump in the eastern graveyard section. II. Morbum 1. Descend west from the starting tower; head north to the guarded wooden building. Inspect its north-facing wall. 2. Turn back toward the nearby street; inspect the western wall/doorway. 3. Continue south past the fruit cart into the dead-end alley. Check its end wall. III. Diabolus 1. Basilica tower: gargoyle beyond the low wall above the main entrance, level with the starting marker. 2. Northwestern cemetery church: climb to its roof. 3. Same church: inspect the doorway beside the statue. IV. Natura 1. Nearby windmill: stonework at its base. 2. Southwest woodland: standing stone beside the bonfire. 3. Northwest from that fire: wall behind the well. V. Crux 1. Nearby windmill: stone wall. 2. Marked search area: wall beside the stone cross. 3. Town boundary: tall stone wall behind the small stall with a metal sign. VI. Noctis 1. Across from the starting roof: curved Abbey of Saint Denis wall. 2. Follow the street west-northwest: withered tree beside the fountain. 3. Northern cemetery: base of the large rock beside the alarm bell. VII. Dies 1. Basilica's north wall: climb to the rose window. 2. Basilica bell tower: inspect its base. 3. Upper room above the main entrance: floor beside the empty baptismal font. Diabolus and Crux are the two story-required chains. Once all seven are finished, collect the sword at the Basilica rather than assuming the last symbol has already put it in your hands. Getting the outfit afterward Take the fragments back to the armor room below the Café Théâtre. There are still three rooms to clear: - Constellations: rotate the pillars so their constellations match the zodiac signs, using the wall diagrams. Climb up and pull the lever. - Planets: from the starting arrangement, press the left button three times, middle once, right three times. - Steam room: climb the route, stopping between bursts rather than jumping into the steam. Once all three gates are lowered, collect the Thomas de Carneillon outfit. Basement puzzle source (https://t.co/4olIaO6fd1). Unity — the 40 hidden co-op Sync Points If you've finished a co-op mission and still can't buy every skill, this is why. The hidden Sync Points are separate from the points awarded for finishing the mission. There are 40 hidden pickups across 11 missions. Use Eagle Vision near them, and check the co-op section of the Progress Tracker to see what's missing. Private play is an option; bring lockpicks and decent gear. How they work (https://t.co/KFVpjNKsIx). This is the compact locator list. The linked mission maps help distinguish nearby buildings; these aren't forty long turn-by-turn routes. Heads Will Roll — 2 - River-access tunnels below Grand Châtelet. - Hôtel de Ville, ground level; rear opening bypasses locked entrance. Political Persecution — 4 - Hedge-maze tower. - Bastille ground-floor locked cell. - Upper room accessible through open window. - Riverbank hidden entrance; locked door underground. Jacobin Raid — 4 - First aboveground building: window entrance. - Second aboveground building: window entrance. - Escape tunnel, locked side room. - Leaders' chamber ceiling: climb and cross the hanging cages. These three mission maps (https://t.co/UVJVvUPbyw). Danton's Sacrifice — 3 - Gallows-side ruined statue: sewer ladder, left turn, slide through fence. - Vendôme large building: southeast entrance, ground-floor room left. - Letters objective: locked entrance, upstairs beside table. The Infernal Machine — 3 - After protecting Napoleon, climb the tall Tuileries tower beside his route. - West of the intelligence objective: catacomb passage, locked room left. - Leader's compound, north side: top balcony, descend one floor, unlock room. The Food Chain — 2 - First search area: rusty-roof building, upper interior. - South of the two Templar search areas: hostile building, top floor. The Austrian Conspiracy — 3 - After defending Danton: top room between fountain garden and document objective. - Master-spy compound's southern building: top-floor locked room. - Filles du Calvaire steeple: leap toward hay. Collect before killing the final spy. Maps for these four missions (https://t.co/yjLSRzc7Zq). District maps and pickup elevations (https://t.co/JjV2TaOEJR). Unity — a practical collectible cleanup, including Dead Kings Unity throws a ridiculous number of icons at you. I wouldn't try to clear the entire map at once. Pick one district, finish its counter, then move on. Keep the puzzle guides separate; a chest and a three-part riddle don't need the same explanation. Paris and Versailles The two big achievement collections are 294 white/red chests and 128 cockades. Don't forget Versailles. Blue and gold legacy chests aren't part of that chest requirement. Wait until you have the stronger lockpicking skills before making a dedicated cleanup pass, and equip extra lockpick capacity if you keep running out. Synchronizing viewpoints alone doesn't expose everything: explore the streets and use Eagle Vision. Counts and access notes (https://t.co/0CMrYBRT91). For each district, I would use this routine: 1. Set a marker on one missing item rather than chasing every icon at once. 2. Check whether the destination is above or below you before choosing a route. 3. If a wall blocks you, check the building's other side and nearby underground entrances instead of repeatedly climbing the same face. 4. Sweep the remaining streets with Eagle Vision, then check the district counter again. One specific snag: the underground cockade associated with the Baphomet Paris story needs that mission's access. It isn't proof your collectible has vanished. Access warning (https://t.co/D45xH2XaH7). The 40 hidden co-op Sync Points have their own mission checklist. The 18 Nostradamus chains have a separate solution guide. Keep ordinary artifacts and Helix Rift artifacts separate in your notes, too; finishing a street sweep is not the same as finishing the Rift collections. Dead Kings Use both the surface and underground map layers. This expansion has 61 required white/red chests, 14 artifacts, 26 Napoleon bicorns, and three viewpoints. Here's the district check: | Area | Chests | Artifacts | Bicorns | |---|---:|---:|---:| | Basilica | 10 | 3 | 7 | | Cemetery | 8 | 2 | 4 | | Windmill | 7 | 1 | 4 | | Catacombs | 13 | 2 | 4 | | Royal Crypt | 10 | 3 | 3 | | Quarry | 13 | 3 | 4 | Each surface district has one viewpoint. Use Eagle Vision while exploring; an empty-looking map doesn't mean the district counter is wrong. Required totals and district breakdown (https://t.co/xDPLrR67Or). For full DLC synchronization, also finish the six story memories and their challenges, four Franciade stories, both murder mysteries, seven Suger chains, three outposts, Last Rites, and Holy High Rollers. The earlier guides cover the story challenges, mysteries, side stories, and Suger solutions. The outposts are Cemetery, Courtyard, and Windmill. Last Rites is the funeral-procession escort; Holy High Rollers is the heist. Both can be attempted solo. In the heist, detection reduces the payout, while death ends the attempt—so don't confuse a reduced payout with failing to finish the mission. Activity requirements (https://t.co/TQpBGQoiPn). This is the cleanup method and completion checklist, not a claim that every chest route has been individually playtested.
