ACIII: feathers, pages, trinkets and the things worth finishing Connor's collectibles are a lot easier to deal with when you separate them instead of running around picking up whatever happens to be nearby. Start with the maps. After Sequence 4, general stores sell collectible maps. The almanac map costs 5,000 and the trinket map costs 3,000. Feather maps are also sold there. These are normal in-game purchases, not a paid map pack. Buy the relevant maps before making a dedicated collection run. Feathers: 50, all in the Frontier. Here's the regional checklist: - Black Creek: 11 - Kanien'kehá:ka: 3 - John's Town: 2 - Valley Forge: 2 - Diamond Basin: 4 - Great Piece Hills: 4 - Concord: 2 - Lexington: 5 - Packanack: 5 - Troy's Wood: 5 - Scotch Plains: 3 - Monmouth: 4 Most are in nests up in the trees. If the marker is above you, stop jumping at the trunk directly underneath it. Follow the connected branches backward until you find a tree or rock you can actually climb. Listen for the nearby collectible sound, then check the branch above and below you. Finishing the set unlocks an outfit in the manor basement; it isn't a separate feather trophy. Almanac pages: 36. These move when you get close. Before starting the chase, look at the surrounding roofs and the next landing point. Once the page moves, follow the route instead of repeatedly jumping straight toward it. If it escapes, leave the area and return for another attempt. A failed chase isn't a permanently lost page. Do a handful at a time and check your total before moving to the other city. Peg Leg trinkets: 24. Use the purchased trinket map to pick out the remaining pickups, then bring them back to Peg Leg at the Homestead harbor. The point isn't just clearing icons: the trinkets feed into the Captain Kidd expeditions. Keep doing the unlocked missions rather than collecting everything and forgetting the turn-ins. Finish that quest line separately from ordinary naval contracts. Chests: Buy the regional chest maps if you're doing a full cleanup. Work one district at a time, open what you've marked, then check the tracker before leaving. Don't count a map purchase as collecting the chest, and don't count a locked chest you walked up to as opened. Tyranny of King Washington: Its artifacts belong to the three DLC episodes, not Connor's normal campaign cleanup. There are three in each episode. The nine landmark directions follow this section in the combined guide. The useful order is maps first, one region at a time, then the reward or mission turn-ins. That gets you somewhere without turning the whole game into one giant unfinished shopping list. --- Tyranny of King Washington: the nine memory artifacts These are separate from the main campaign's feathers and trinkets. Keep each episode's checklist separate so Boston's pickups don't get mistaken for missing Frontier items. The Infamy - Assassin symbol: west of the village, across the first river, beside the next riverbank. - Lexington: table inside the burned building northwest of the restricted zone. - Valley Forge: map inside the central open tent. The Betrayal - Rifle: rooftop southwest of the restricted docks. - Cleaver: courtyard southeast of the lake's southern end, beneath a hanging body. - Hat: sheltered roadside bench between the lake's northeast edge and northern docks. The Redemption - Wristband: highest point of the church northeast of Washington's pyramid. - Noose: churchyard northwest of the pyramid. - Cape: western courtyard inside the southwestern fort. Walk up and interact with the actual object. Seeing the location is not the same as collecting it.
