4/8 — Unity, Syndicate, and Chronicles Unity — November 11, 2014 Arno Dorian’s story takes place during the French Revolution, with his relationship with Élise caught in the Assassin–Templar conflict. Rogue connects directly to events in his childhood. In the present, Bishop recruits an Animus user to help the Assassins investigate the past. Chronicles: China — April 21, 2015 Shao Jun returns to Ming China after her connection with Ezio, trying to rebuild her Brotherhood. This begins the smaller 2.5D stealth series rather than another open-world trilogy. Syndicate — October 23, 2015 Jacob and Evie Frye take on Templar control of London in 1868. Jacob leans into gang warfare while Evie follows the search for a Piece of Eden. Their story continues the wider conflict, with Bishop and the modern Assassins still working against Abstergo. Chronicles: India — January 12, 2016 Arbaaz Mir’s adventure takes place in 1841, involving the struggle over a powerful artifact during tensions between the Sikh Empire and the East India Company. Chronicles: Russia — February 9, 2016 Nikolai Orelov’s story takes place in 1918 and involves Anastasia Romanov. It brings the Chronicles stories into the twentieth century, still using that smaller, side-scrolling stealth approach. Identity — February 25, 2016 worldwide on iOS A custom Assassin investigates the Mystery of the Crows in Renaissance Italy. This had an earlier regional soft launch, so 2016 refers to its worldwide release. The story DLC: • Unity: Dead Kings — January 13, 2015. Arno’s story after the main campaign. • Syndicate: Jack the Ripper — December 15, 2015. London twenty years after the main game. • Syndicate: The Last Maharaja — March 1, 2016. The Duleep Singh missions.
