All right, I just finished the Wonderland epilogue, and that ending confused the hell out of me at first. Cheshire goes into the bowling alley and starts yelling, and I'm sitting here wondering whether they actually died. What was I supposed to take from that last scene? But look at what happens right before it. Calie gives the Queen a choice: kill them, and they'll come back and destroy the evil in Wonderland, or use her magic to save Violet and leave them in peace. Then Violet gasps and comes around. She and Calie are holding each other and crying. Violet can barely believe it's over. We actually see them reunited before the scene moves outside. And without getting into any future story spoilers, later continuity confirms that both of them survive. So that answers the death question. What still throws me is the way the last page is presented. Cheshire runs inside, that cry comes from the bowling alley, and we're left outside with a white rabbit. After everything that just happened, it makes you question whether they really get to have any peace. I can follow the resolution now. Calie gets her daughter back. I still want to know what everyone else took from Cheshire's reaction, because that was what made me second-guess the ending in the first place.
