4/7 | SPOILERS | Mass Effect 2: the Suicide Mission This route covers Suicide Mission, Mission Accomplished, Against All Odds and No One Left Behind. Before Reaper IFF: 1. Recruit everyone available and finish all their loyalty missions. Legion is the exception because you haven't met him yet. 2. Ask Jacob, Tali and Garrus about Normandy upgrades. Actually research Heavy Ship Armor, Multicore Shielding and the Thanix Cannon. Conversation alone does not install them. 3. Check that the squad is still loyal after the arguments. After Reaper IFF, keep and activate Legion immediately, talk again for his loyalty quest, and do that next. Once the Normandy crew is abducted, go straight through the Omega-4 Relay. No extra assignments. The kidnapped crew's survival is separate from the combat-team trophy, but this route saves both. At the Collector Base, assuming all 12 squadmates are recruited and loyal: • Vent specialist: Tali, Legion or Kasumi. • First fire-team leader: Garrus, Miranda or Jacob. • Open every vent valve before the specialist's meter runs out. • Escort the rescued crew: send Mordin. • Biotic shield: Jack or Samara. Morinth also works if she replaced Samara. • Second fire-team leader: Garrus, Miranda or Jacob. • Final boss squad: take Tali and Kasumi. Leave Garrus, Grunt and Zaeed with the defenders. This keeps your strongest defenders holding the line. Suicide Mission: enter the Omega-4 Relay. Mission Accomplished: defeat the final boss and finish the mission; either Collector Base decision works. Against All Odds: Shepard survives. At least two squadmates must survive the mission for that final escape. No One Left Behind: every recruited combat squadmate survives, including the approach in the Normandy. Loyalty alone is NOT enough: ship upgrades and specialist choices matter too. Keep the pre-relay save until the trophies pop.
