Mass Effect 1 trophy guide, 1/5 This is for Legendary Edition on PlayStation: 35 trophies, including the platinum. One thorough run can get them all, on any difficulty and with any class. The separate trilogy trophies are covered in the last post. Original PS3/Xbox 360 differences are in part 4. Spoilers below, including Virmire and the ending. Before you get moving: • On the Normandy BEFORE Eden Prime, ask Anderson/Nihlus about the Protheans through Investigate. Missing that conversation means missing Archivist on that run. • Recruit everyone, then rotate your squad. Get Ashley's and Kaidan's ally trophies, and Kaidan's Neural Shock uses, before Virmire. Get Wrex's ally trophy early too. • Put points into Charm or Intimidate as you level. Stick mainly to one morality path until Principled unlocks. • Keep separate saves before Virmire, before escaping the grounded Normandy, and before Ilos. Finish Citadel errands before that escape; finish the rest of your galaxy cleanup before landing on Ilos. There isn't a normal postgame free-roam cleanup. The story trophies: • Distinguished Service Medal: finish Eden Prime. • Spectre Inductee: complete the Citadel investigation and receive Spectre status. • Search and Rescue: rescue Liara on Therum, Knossos system, Artemis Tau. Going early gives you more time to use her powers and finish her ally trophy. • Medal of Heroism: finish Feros. • Honorarium of Corporate Service: finish Noveria. • Council Legion of Merit: finish Virmire. • Meritorious Service Medal: finish Ilos. • Medal of Honor: finish the final Citadel confrontation and the game. Colonial Savior: go to Asteroid X57 in the Asgard system, Exodus Cluster, and finish Bring Down the Sky. Disable the three fusion torches, reach the main facility and resolve Balak's confrontation. The final moral choice doesn't change this trophy. Do it before Ilos. Neither the rachni queen choice nor saving/sacrificing the Council locks the story trophies. Virmire does matter for your remaining squad and romance cleanup, though. Don't sacrifice a character whose trophy or romance you still need.
