Metro Exodus achievement guide (5/9) Crew outcomes, endings and Ranger Hardcore Full Strength — In ONE continuous campaign, get Duke through Volga alive, bring Damir back from Caspian, and finish Taiga with Alyosha unhurt. Then finish the game. It unlocks at the ending, not immediately when Alyosha’s individual trophy appears. Having the three individual trophies on your account from three unrelated runs does not satisfy this. If you repair an earlier chapter through chapter select, carry on normally from that point so the corrected state reaches the ending. Do not jump to an old finale save. Your Destination — Reach the good ending. You need at least TWO of those three favorable regional outcomes: Duke alive, Damir staying, Alyosha unhurt. Going for all three also covers Full Strength. It is not a final dialogue choice you can switch at the last second. Eternal Voyage — Reach the other ending, where Artyom dies after saving Anna. At least two of the three regional outcomes must be unfavorable. That can mean Duke dies, Damir stays behind, or Alyosha is wounded; it does not mean two of them have to die. For a deliberate bad-ending run, do the opposite of the peaceful regional routes: attack the cultists in Volga, mistreat the slaves and skip their rescues in Caspian, or kill Pioneers/Pirates in Taiga. Check the resulting companion outcomes as you finish each region. Playing Ranger Hardcore or skipping a couple of side errands does not automatically guarantee the bad ending. Hardcore — Complete the main campaign on RANGER HARDCORE from the start. Ordinary Hardcore is not the same setting. This can be a new campaign or a NG+ campaign, but the difficulty requirement still applies to the full run. There are checkpoints, but no manual quicksave. Keep guns clean, collect supplies, use stealth to avoid optional fights and learn the route on the easier playthrough first. “Minimal Interface” is still Ranger Hardcore if you prefer its limited prompts over the fully hidden interface. Either ending works for Hardcore; pairing it with the one you still need saves another run. I would not build the guide around old version-downgrade or chapter-jump glitches. The straightforward route is to finish the campaign under the required conditions.
