Metro Exodus achievement guide (2/9) Moscow, the train and Volga Brakeman — On the enemy train at the end of Moscow, detach BOTH carriages as you move towards the locomotive. Look for the red coupling controls beside the connecting doors and use them before moving into the next car. Blowing up the train alone does not do it. Exodus — Finish Moscow. This comes from progressing through the escape. Aurora — Continue through Winter until the crew names the locomotive. Story progression. Join us on air — Sit at the Aurora’s radio during a train interlude and slowly tune until you find music. Spring is a straightforward opportunity; hearing the story’s required radio transmission is not the same thing as finding a song. Regatta — Board a rowboat in Volga. The main route gives you an opportunity very early. Railwayman — Get into the trolley in Volga’s terminal. This is part of obtaining transport for the crew. Long distance passenger — Retrieve the passenger carriage and connect it to the trolley in Volga. Follow the main mission. Friend of the Crew — Pick up BOTH the guitar and Nastya’s teddy bear. The guitar is at the top of the bandit tower in the central/southern part of the map. The bear is in the demon’s nest on the tall tank/silo in the southeast. Talk to the crew for their map markers. The bear trip is also a good chance for Firebird. Fisherman — Kill the giant catfish with the terminal trap, not by wasting ammunition on it. Before leaving with the trolley, enter the little control area with the bell, hanging bodies and lever. Ring the bell, drop a body as bait, and pull the lever when the fish is underneath the suspended debris. Save before trying it if your difficulty allows. Duke — Finish Volga with Duke alive. The safe route is nonlethal at the church, the merchants’ boat and the final bridge. Sneak past people or knock them out, spare surrendering enemies and free the cultists held by bandits. Avoiding an alarm at the bridge makes the route safer, but this is a morality outcome, not a separate “never detected anywhere” achievement. Check that Duke actually comes back with you before continuing a Full Strength run. Lower the Bridge — Finish Volga. Duke’s result is separate, so completing the chapter does not guarantee his trophy. Before the final bridge, finish the open-map errands and gear hunt. Individual chapter trophies can be replayed later, but repairing Duke’s outcome for the ending means continuing the story from that corrected chapter, not jumping straight to the finale.
