I loved the hell out of Watch Dogs. The first one, the second one, the DLC, all of it. There was a lot of great shit in those games. I was a late bloomer on this series. I'd played bits and pieces before, but by the time I sat down and did my full playthroughs, I was coming to them pretty late. I really wish we'd get another Watch Dogs someday. I don't think anything in the series will beat the nostalgia of the first one for me. Aiden Pearce was an amazing character. I loved the story, loved playing through it, and the second game was great too. Then getting Aiden and Wrench together in Legion's Bloodline DLC was another part I really enjoyed. Legion is where people seem to split. Some people loved it, some people hated it. I liked it a lot, but I don't think it was anywhere near as good as the first two. It had a different twist, and I thought the story was a little weak in places. My biggest issue was the bugs. I ran into so many bugs and errors during my playthrough. That really needed to be in better shape when I played it. But I still beat it, spent a lot of time unlocking and recruiting characters, and had a lot of fun. I don't think it was as bad as people made it out to be. For me, more polish and expanding on what was already there could have made a big difference. Spoilers for Legion's Coming Home mission below. This is the storyline with Skye Larsen and her mother, so skip this part if you haven't played it yet. You go into Skye's house and start finding out what she'd been doing. She uploaded her dying mother's consciousness against her wishes, then took that mind apart until what was left became the AI running the house. So the system talking to you is actually what's left of her mother. There's even a recreation of their old home hidden underneath the mansion. As you work through it, you find out how all of that happened, and eventually shut the AI down to end her suffering. That whole storyline is in the main game, and it's a pretty dark turn for it to take. Again, overall, it's a solid series of games. I absolutely loved the hell out of playing it.
