9/16 The New Baker: Silvester Build the bakery. Silvester used to cook for Runt’s gang and now wants an honest job. There are six dialogue endings here: • Refuse to promise secrecy: he leaves without being hired. • Hire him before hearing more: he becomes your baker. • Hear his confession, then hire him: he becomes your baker. • Tell him to leave quickly: he goes free. • Refuse the job but let him go: he goes free. • Hand him over to the authorities: he is arrested. Both hiring routes add 75 groschen a day and unlock the later bread dispute. The other four add nothing to daily income. None changes the listed population. The quick dismissal lists no reputation change. The other exact reputation amounts are uncertain. These are endings reached through the conversation, not six choices all sitting on one menu. If you want the skilled baker and his later judgment, either hiring route gets you there.
