7/16 Attempted Murder: Malis and Harridan

7/16 Attempted Murder: Malis and Harridan The wikis list the trader’s as the unlock, although older guides give different building requirements. Malis says Harridan poisoned him. She says he got drunk, beat her, became sick, and needed the herb woman. You have to rule on their conflicting stories. • Rebuke Malis and forbid him from drinking or abusing her: gain 5 groschen a day, no population change, lose 3 reputation. • Banish Harridan: lose 10 a day, 1 resident and 3 reputation. • Stay out of it: no income, population or reputation change. Even the ruling against Malis costs reputation. For banishing Harridan, newer comparison tables give the 10-per-day loss above; an older guide says 30.
