Nextborn Universe is something I'm still building, and I'm not entirely sure what I want to do with it yet. I got a lot of inspiration from Heroes, both the original show and the later revival. Right now I have three short stories introducing three different heroes with the same general theme. I'll probably end up with five to eight stories introducing different characters into the bigger world. I don't know if that eventually turns into a novella, a novel, or something else. I'm still figuring out the direction. One of my favorites is Death Marker. He can think about somebody dying, and they die in the way he imagines, or something similar. He starts out as a kid. That one's been pretty fun to work on, and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes. Another project is currently just labeled Squad Members. I'm not going to say much about it yet. It's a trained team, each with their own history and canon, and they're functionally immortal. They date back to before the Great Flood. There's a lot I'm doing with that one. I recently started Chaos. It was originally going to be a very short story, but it's already turning into something much bigger than I anticipated. I've got an epilogue and part of chapter one. Meat Grinder is another one I'm working out. That's intended to be a longer short story, but I haven't started writing it yet. I'm still figuring out what I want to do with it.
