Earthmelder is a novella, close to a novel, not a short story. It's probably one of the most important stories I've written. I spent a great deal of time writing and editing it, and it's one of my favorites. The character Myra was inspired by Mir from Ar tonelico. That's where the name came from, and I tried to model parts of her personality after Mir as well. Description: Leo has spent his entire life alone, which wasn't an issue until he met Myra. It was love at first sight, and they spent a lot of time together, only for her to vanish into the woods one afternoon. He obsesses over her until the day he decides to follow her.
