PRAGMATA LUNATIC PROGRESSION, 3/3
MAJOR FINAL-BOSS AND ENDGAME MECHANIC SPOILERS.
CENTRAL PORT
The last stretch asks you to handle corrupted enemies while keeping enough resources for the next room. Fully charge Cleanse against Dead Filament, then return to the normal hack-and-shoot sequence. If the corruption is still there, fix that before spending more heavy ammunition.
For multi-wave rooms, use Overdrive or Deletion Protocol when it turns a dangerous wave into a manageable one. Then build the gauge back with successful hacks while clearing the survivors. Saving it for a later boss doesn't help if the current room keeps killing you.
The Sentinel in the Lunafilament Lab can be controlled with tools such as Riot Blaster and a decoy. Cleanse the corruption, open it, and punish the chest weak point after its attack sequence. When it starts pulling Hugh inward, move away from the coming blast. It restores its corruption afterward, so Cleanse again before resuming the damage loop.
Don't add Cursed or a low-health damage setup just because a video uses one. If the gauntlet is still giving you trouble, keep the defensive margin. Open the Orbital Elevator Access hatch and make the last Shelter visit before Eight.
FINAL PREPARATION
Bring your upgraded damage weapons, the control or matrix tools you actually use, full healing, and a full Deletion Protocol gauge. Keep a manual save before committing so a loadout change doesn't cost you more progress than necessary.
A conventional setup is Photon Laser with Jackhammer, Offense Mode, and mods that reward the opening you're about to create. Cheap Shot, Skirmisher and Close Quarters fit a close rear-angle punish. Recursive Learning helps rebuild the gauge. Replace a full-health bonus if you can't keep it active.
For the Lim Cannon route, bring enough Lim for the charge stage you're using. Decode and a clean weak-point hit are more useful than blindly firing at the center of the model. A stun creates the chance to aim and charge; it doesn't guarantee a particular shot count.
EIGHT: THE DAMAGE PLAN
One conventional approach is to open with Deletion Protocol, get behind the boss, and hold Photon Laser on the exposed weak point while continuing the hacking loop. Keep firing while the opening is safe so you don't keep restarting the beam. Use Jackhammer and its follow-up for another burst before the stun ends.
When the boss recovers, go back to dodging and hacking. Use the arena pickups instead of insisting on a weapon you've already emptied. Build toward another Deletion Protocol opening, then spend the next heavy-damage window. The Lim Cannon can use the same controlled opening, with a well-timed charged shot instead of the sustained beam.
If the fight continues through its normal phases, remember these checks:
• Dead Filament protection: land the fully charged Cleanses needed to remove it before normal hacking. The opening phase needs two.
• Delayed tentacle attacks: wait for the strike, not just the windup. Later attacks can add follow-ups.
• Tentacle shield: complete a hack to break the protection instead of wasting shots into it.
• Tracking orb: don't dodge so early that it has time to follow the new position.
• Suction attack: move away before the pull traps you near the blast.
• Late matrix: preserve Auto-Hacking or matrix-support tools for the more crowded red sections. If the path isn't safe, don't let staring at the grid cost you Hugh's life.
Watch for the contextual protocol prompt as the fight reaches its conclusion. Follow the remaining finale through to the clear. You haven't finished the difficulty just because the conventional boss health bar is gone.
The reward for the Lunatic story clear includes the unlimited-ammunition option in the Shelter. You don't need to complete Unknown Signal on Lunatic for that story-clear reward. It also doesn't turn the Lim Cannon's currency cost into free shots or give you unlimited hacking-node charges.
