PRAGMATA LUNATIC PROGRESSION, 2/3 Boss and story-mechanic spoilers continue. This covers Terra Dome, Lunum Mines, and Experimental Pragmatics. TERRA DOME: BUILD A REGULAR-ENEMY PLAN You now have enough options to stop treating every encounter the same way. The Pulse Carbine supports a Heat/Combust setup for ordinary enemies. Critical Shot is the payoff, and Collateral Damage helps when other enemies are standing close to that target. If you're going with conventional weapons, keep upgrading one reliable burst weapon and one control tool. If you're going with Lim Cannon, spend Pure Lunum on its useful charge upgrades without abandoning thrusters, healing, and Diana's hacking. Having a powerful gun doesn't remove the need to get a safe shot off. The blue-barrier return paths are worth checking as you move between the Plant Factory, Eco Modeling Lab, and Soil Research. Red barriers still wait for Cleanse. Pick up the mods that fit your plan instead of immediately equipping every new one. Recursive Learning helps rebuild Diana's gauge; Aggressive Defense is a useful safety option when you're spending a lot of time aiming. Before a locked combat room, check three things: healing, a control charge, and whether your Attack Unit has enough ammunition for the dangerous target. In the room, remove the support enemy that is preventing your plan from working. A jammer or shield-support bot can matter more than the larger enemy standing closest to you. GARDEN KEEPER Restock before dropping into the Terrarium arena. Keep a ranged option for the times the boss is off the floor. The tail is the high-value weak point. A planted-tail attack gives a much cleaner shot than chasing it during a sweep. Keep clear of the marked blast around that planted tail while taking the opening. If the tail is out of reach, use the exposed underside rather than forcing a bad angle. Watch the actual sweep before dodging. An early dodge can finish before the tail reaches Hugh. Shoot the shock mines from a distance so a dodge doesn't end with you rooted in place. During the wall phase, move through the laser gaps and use Diana on the redirectable missiles. Code Generator, if you've earned it, or Sticky Bombs can help with the harder matrix. Don't spend the whole fight waiting for a perfect Lim Cannon shot. If the safe opening only gives you time for the weapon already in your hands, use it and reset. LUNUM MINES: SAVE BURST FOR THE OPENING Take the Mine Entrance through the Crane Operation Yard and Warehouse methodically. Low gravity gives you extra movement, but don't drift into a fight with no clear landing space. Use the hatches to reset supplies before the next long stretch. This sector adds useful weapon-focused mods, including Analog Aggression and Eagle Eye. Analog Aggression costs hacking damage in exchange for weapon damage. Eagle Eye needs you airborne. Use either only if it matches the way you're doing damage. A safe grounded charge is better than missing the weak point while trying to add an airborne bonus. Luna Digger has brief openings early. Keep Auto-Hacking available for its surfacing windows, then hit the mouth when it is exposed. Don't empty every heavy weapon into the armored body while waiting for that opening. Later, more of its body becomes vulnerable. That is the time to spend stronger ranged damage. Watch the missile markers, and hack the small burrowing drones back against the boss when they appear. Take Critical Shot opportunities instead of backing away automatically when it staggers. EXPERIMENTAL PRAGMATICS This section changes what Hugh can do. Follow the recovery objective for Diana. During the Sentinel encounter without working hacking support, concentrate on staying alive until the scripted recovery. Don't judge the lack of damage as proof that your upgraded gun has suddenly stopped working. After Diana's recovery, Cleanse becomes part of the combat plan. It also opens the red-barrier return routes. Before pushing through Central Port, this is a good point to collect any red-barrier resources your build still needs. You do not need another 100% completion run just to earn the Lunatic story clear. Take the detours that buy a useful upgrade, and leave the rest if you're ready to finish.
