PRAGMATA LUNATIC PROGRESSION, 1/3 Boss, equipment, and late-game mechanic spoilers. This is for the first Lunatic clear, from the initial setup through the ending. Start by keeping your completed save. Lunatic unlocks after finishing the story, but your first Lunatic run starts through New Game. Your upgraded Standard character doesn't become a Lunatic character through New Game+. Once you select Lunatic, you can't lower that run's difficulty. I'd finish Unknown Signal on the earlier save first if you want the Lim Cannon available for this run. Its unlock makes it available to purchase again on Lunatic. The upgraded weapon and your pile of currency don't carry over with it. You still have to earn the materials and build it back up. You can clear Lunatic without that weapon. The two routes below are a conventional weapon route and a Lim Cannon-assisted route, so you aren't stuck following a plan for something you haven't unlocked. FIRST SHELTER VISIT Lunatic gives you a broader Printer selection early. That includes tools such as Jackhammer, Photon Laser, Decoy Generator, the hacking modes, and the purchased abilities. Availability doesn't mean you can afford everything at once. Start with these priorities: • A dependable Attack Unit: Shockwave Gun for regular fights. Buy the Lim Cannon too if you're taking that route, but keep some Lim available to fire it. • A control tool: Stasis Net or Riot Blaster. • Decoy Generator so you can create time to hack or heal. • Critical Shot and Fast Moves when you have the Pure Lunum. • Thruster upgrades so a second dodge isn't blocked by an empty gauge. • Object Scan so you aren't walking past the resources paying for the rest of the run. Use Upgrade Components on Diana's Hacking and the primary weapon you rely on, while keeping Hugh's Suit healthy enough for the mistakes you're actually making. If one common hit keeps ending attempts, another damage upgrade isn't automatically the right next purchase. Don't scatter your Pure Lunum across every gun. Pick the weapon plan, buy the upgrades that make it work, and leave the rest until your main tools are in a good place. The expanded early menu makes it very easy to buy too many half-finished options. SOLAR POWER PLANT Take the accessible boxes and Upgrade Components as you move through the plant. Activate each Escape Hatch. Keep the blue-barrier pickups on the return list rather than wasting time trying to force them before Lim Eraser. Use the early Walkers to get comfortable opening an enemy while staying aware of the others. Stasis one threat, hack the next, and spend the shotgun on an exposed target. Breaking away from the matrix to dodge is better than finishing a hack and eating a hit for it. SectorGuard: hack it open and work around to the orange weak point on its back. Stop chasing the rear while it is still in a charge sequence. Let the charges finish, then use Stasis and take the opening. Move out of missile markers instead of trying to finish one more shot inside them. Overdrive gives a clean damage opportunity when the fight introduces it. MASS PRODUCTION ARRAY This is where resource discipline starts paying off. Take useful side pickups while opening the six-beacon route. At the Lim Recycling Facility, use the machinery for crowded encounters when you can gather enemies under it. If an Executor blocks hacking with its glowing emitters, shoot the emitters before trying to force another matrix. Once Lim Eraser is unlocked, make the short return to the Solar Power Plant's blocked rooms. Those materials and Diana's Storage Expander help the current run. You're collecting upgrades you can use now, rather than treating all cleanup as something to do after the difficult fights. For a Lim Cannon route, practice perfect releases on ordinary, opened enemies before the boss. The Recycling Facility is a commonly used place to work on grouped targets and collect more Lim. Stasis helps hold the group together. Check the actual currency gain after each attempt; don't budget around a fixed profit figure from somebody else's upgraded build. Creator: bring ranged burst, such as Charge Piercer. Hack, then aim for the face or exposed underside. When the red hacking-blocking emitters appear, destroy those first. Later ones require a different angle, including the back. If the arena turns red, stop dealing damage and climb the raised structures. Use the height to see the upper emitters. Resume damage once the floor attack has passed. Use the Comms Tower hatch to prepare before that fight. If you're failing repeatedly, check whether you're losing to the floor attack, blocked hacking, or an empty loadout. Those need different fixes.
