PRAGMATA TRAINING SIMULATIONS, 4/6 16. CRACK & CRASH Main: defeat every enemy within 120 seconds. Extras: take no damage; finish within 100 seconds. Use the Sticky Bombs to simplify the hacking matrix, then route through Expose nodes for the damage. Keep collecting replacement nodes and bombs instead of falling back on a long pistol fight when the supplied tools run out. You face the enemies one after another, which makes this a good place to focus on one clean sequence: bomb, hack through Expose, damage the exposed enemy, then repeat as needed. Keep the laser in view while solving the grid. Check its position before dodging instead of moving blindly across its path. For Perfect, being absorbed in the hacking puzzle is just as dangerous as the enemy's attack. 17. LOCK AND ROLL Main: defeat every enemy within 100 seconds. Extras: collect all Signal Data; finish within 80 seconds. Take the Homing Missiles and keep collecting fresh pickups along the platform circuit. Lock onto a group before firing, then move toward the next data pickup while the missiles travel. There are six data pickups to collect. Work around the perimeter, checking the higher platforms as you go, and leave at least one enemy alive until you have the last pickup. Killing everything early ends the room without the collection objective. If a platform is blocking your view, change elevation before wasting time trying to lock through it. For Perfect, fighting and collecting need to be the same lap. First learn the data circuit, then improve where you stand for each group of targets. 18. PANIC SCRAMBLE Main: reach the target within 60 seconds. Extras: hack every terminal; finish within 50 seconds. There are four terminals. After the first gap, check the right wall. The second is by the lift, and the last two are ahead at the upper section. Watch the sliding blocks before opening the hacking view. Start when the block has cleared the terminal, not just before it moves across your sightline. If the terminal disappears behind it, you lose that attempt and the time spent entering it. Use the lift ride to get the camera lined up for the next target. From below, you can get a more useful view of the upper terminals than you get by rushing directly into the final platforming section. For Perfect, the terminals are the route. Passing one and coming back is usually worse than taking the brief pause needed to hack it cleanly. 19. CATCH ME IF YOU CAN Main: defeat every enemy within 130 seconds without being caught. Extras: finish within 115 seconds; finish within 100 seconds. A 100-second clear gets both extras. Keep moving, because being caught is a failure condition, not simply damage you can heal through. Use the Drone Hive while the Creepers are active. Keeping pressure on them helps stop the invisible enemy from becoming a surprise grab while you are busy solving another hack. Use Riot Blaster shots to interrupt tougher targets, then follow the knockdown with damage to their exposed weak points. When enemies group together, hit the group rather than spending every control shot on one small bot. For Perfect, identify the Creeper as soon as it appears and keep it accounted for. A few seconds saved attacking something else are not worth losing the entire attempt to the enemy behind you. 20. EXPERT PROJECT PIERCE Main: defeat every enemy. Extras: finish within 70 seconds; finish within 55 seconds. The Charge Piercer is still the answer, but now your firing position moves. Start charging before the targets reach the best angle and release through the line, allowing for the shot's travel time. Do not chase every enemy with the camera independently. Choose the angle where several overlap and let the platform movement bring that shot together. If you fire only after the perfect line has already passed, the projectile can arrive too late. Keep a fresh Charge Piercer available and use the Grip Gun to clean up an isolated survivor when that is quicker than another full charge. The tighter 55-second objective satisfies both time goals. Next: Bullet Hell Arena through Expert Red Flash. This is where knowing which challenge actually requires no damage saves a lot of unnecessary restarts.
