PRAGMATA TRAINING SIMULATIONS, 3/6
11. LOCKSMITH
Main: reach the target within 23 seconds.
Extras: finish within 19 seconds; finish within 15 seconds.
The 15-second run clears both extras. Your time loss here is usually moving into position and losing sight of a terminal, not the distance to the finish.
Stand near the edge closest to the next hacking target. Keep it in view as the platform moves so the changing camera angle does not interrupt you.
At the second platform, handle the left and middle targets before moving onward, then deal with the right-hand target from the next position. Use the same order on each retry so you are improving one route instead of inventing a new one every attempt.
Once the final barrier is open, move straight to the goal. This is a short enough challenge that a hesitation after a successful hack matters.
12. FLOOR IT
Main: reach the target within 60 seconds.
Extras: destroy every storage box; take no damage.
Use the Stasis Net to stop enemies while you pass. Fighting every bot is not the objective and eats the time you need for the route.
The four box checks are: the first enemy platform, the hallway with the wall-panel hacks, beneath the stronger flying enemy after the laser corridor, and the moving platform above and left near the finish.
Freeze the first group, break its box, then move. Complete the two corridor locks from the entrance, using the left wall against shots from behind. Follow the moving laser through the next passage and net the enemy ahead while breaking its box.
At the last stairs, use the net to protect your route before crossing an exposed firing lane. Watch for the enemies preparing to fire and move while they are held.
Shoot the last high box when its moving platform pauses at either end, then use the goal. For Perfect, the nets buy movement and hacking time. Killing every bot is unnecessary.
13. BAD BLOOD
Main: defeat every enemy.
Extras: defeat four enemies through friendly fire; finish within 100 seconds.
Use Multihack with Confuse when enemies are grouped. You want several bots fighting each other while you work on weakening the ones that still have too much health.
The important part is the finishing hit. Your gun can help lower a target's health, but if you keep shooting until it dies, that kill does not become a friendly-fire kill just because another bot also hit it.
Keep track of the four required kills as the waves progress. Once you have them, finish the remaining enemies normally rather than continuing to wait for friendly fire you no longer need.
For Perfect, do not save this condition for the last surviving enemy. Set up the confused group while there are enough targets to make the mechanic work.
14. BURN, BURN, BURN
Main: defeat every enemy within 90 seconds.
Extras: destroy every storage box; finish within 80 seconds.
Use the Photon Laser and keep the beam on target as you sweep between enemies. Stopping and restarting constantly wastes the weapon's sustained-fire advantage. Take a fresh pickup when you need ammunition.
Destroy the visible boxes as you fight. There are five in all, but the last appears high up with the final large enemy. Check for it during that final wave before finishing the room.
15. SUMMIT
Main: reach the target within 90 seconds.
Extras: collect all Signal Data; finish within 60 seconds.
Learn the data route before chasing the crown. On the first pass, look around at the top of each lift and check below before leaving a ledge. Make a note of any pickup that requires jumping away from the main ascent so your next run includes it instead of sending you back down.
Use the zip rails to gain height, then save enough thruster energy to reach the data and correct back onto a platform. Do not use your last boost just to arrive at the wrong side of a pickup.
There is no no-damage objective here. A hit can still interrupt a jump or cost time, but it does not automatically invalidate Perfect. Keep going if the route and timer are still recoverable. Stop resetting a run for a condition the challenge never asked you to meet.
Next: hacking damage, missiles, moving-terminal hacks, Creepers, and the harder piercing test.
