PRAGMATA TRAINING SIMULATIONS, 1/6
Spoiler warning: later weapons, enemy types, and challenge layouts. No story ending spoilers.
This is the Training Sim guide for all 30 challenges, including the extra objectives. I already covered unlocking them in the other guides. This one is about getting through the actual rooms.
First, separate three things:
• A main-objective clear counts toward Master of the Simulator.
• The two extra objectives have their own rewards. You can earn those on separate successful runs.
• The Perfect crown means doing all three objectives together in one run.
So if you have every reward but no crown, that is why. You do not need 30 crowns for the trophy.
These rooms use their supplied equipment. Plan around the pickups in the room, not the build you brought through the campaign. For the movement challenges, learn the collectible route first, then combine it with the faster time. A scouting attempt is more useful than repeating the same missed box ten times.
01. LIGHTNING SPEED
Main: reach the target within 90 seconds.
Extras: destroy every storage box; finish within 60 seconds.
Shoot visible boxes while moving through the course rather than taking a separate detour to stand beside each one.
Before activating the goal, check whether the box objective is complete. If it is not, use that attempt to find what you missed so the next timed route includes it.
For the 60-second run, use your time on the lifts to look ahead and line up the next shot. Save a little thruster energy for correcting a jump. Emptying the gauge on a straight stretch can cost you the next platform cycle.
02. SHIMMERING DRIFT & DISCOVERY
Main: collect seven Signal Data within 60 seconds.
Extras: take no damage; finish within 50 seconds.
Work around the platform circuit rather than repeatedly crossing the middle. Collect the higher data as you climb, then finish the loop near the starting side.
The seventh pickup ends the collection objective, so make sure your route includes the higher data before returning to the low platforms. Land properly before the next jump rather than spending the whole route hovering with an empty gauge.
For Perfect, a slightly slower clean landing is better than a fall. You have a 50-second target, not a requirement to hold the dash button constantly.
03. ONE SHOT, ONE KILL
Main: defeat every enemy. There is no main-objective time limit.
Extras: collect all Signal Data; finish within 80 seconds.
Use the Shockwave Gun pickups for the flying enemies. Get close enough for the spread to connect instead of wasting shots from the opposite platform. Keep the Grip Gun for a distant straggler rather than making another long jump just to use the shotgun.
Collect the data as you follow the platforms and weapon pickups around the arena. Check the collection objective before finishing the last enemy.
Do the data sweep before finishing the last enemy. If the combined run is giving you trouble, first clear with all the data, then do a separate kill-only run for the time reward. The crown is the run where those two routes finally come together.
04. RED FLASH
Main: survive for 50 seconds.
Extras: do not dodge; take no damage.
This is the one where the dodge button can ruin an otherwise clean attempt. Running, jumping, and hovering are your tools. Do not confuse the normal movement here with the dodge that the objective forbids.
Start around the middle so you have room on either side. Read the gaps in the approaching grid and move into the opening before it reaches you. For the horizontal patterns, jump and use only enough hover to let the beam pass underneath.
Check the whole grid before moving, including the space above you. Once you have a safe opening, make the smallest movement needed to reach it. A long unnecessary hover can leave you without energy for the next pattern.
05. STOP & GO
Main: reach the target within 65 seconds.
Extras: collect all Signal Data; finish within 55 seconds.
The sliding blocks are the problem, not the length of the course. Move when a block opens your lane, cross that section, and stop on safe ground before the next bad timing window.
Collect the data along the main path, but check the right side of the final target area before finishing. Do not assume the straight route has picked everything up.
On the upper section, make the jump first and use a short correction toward the landing. A long panic dash can carry you straight past it. For Perfect, the goal is one continuous route with planned pauses, not charging into every block and hoping it moves.
Next: Medic through Mouse Trap, including what “deal damage using enemies” means.
