How styles work, and which base suits use them Many suits have the original appearance plus three alternate color styles. The style purchase is separate from obtaining the suit. The menu shows what is available and the material requirement; a suit without a style panel is not necessarily missing an upgrade. Peter's ordinary styled base suits are Advanced Suit 2.0, Classic, Scarlet III, Advanced, Kumo, Spider-Man 2099 Black, Scarlet Spider, Superior, Anti-Ock, Arachknight, Spider-Punk, Secret Wars: Civil War, Iron Spider Armor, New Blue, Classic Black, Life Story, Last Hunt, and Saving Lives. Peter's Hybrid, Amazing, Amazing 2, Into the Spider-Verse Noir, Homemade, Webbed Black, Webbed, Upgraded Classic, Upgraded, Stealth, Iron Spider, New Red and Blue, and Black and Gold entries use their fixed movie-inspired looks rather than the ordinary three-style purchase. His Black, Symbiote, and Anti-Venom story styles are the New Game+ exception below. For Miles, the base-game suits use the ordinary style system except his three film-specific Spider-Verse entries: Into the Spider-Verse, Into the Spider-Verse SB, and Across the Spider-Verse. Evolved does have styles. Styles are cosmetic. You do not need to find the “best” color for damage, and the base Kitted Out trophy does not require buying every color variation. Stylish does ask you to equip a style, so purchase and actually wear one rather than assuming merely owning it is enough.
