Miles: Evolved Venom upgrades - POWER SPOILERS
After Venom Smash: Jolt, Chain Lightning: Power Overwhelming (1) opens this branch. It increases Chain Lightning's bolt count from three to six.
The next choices are Thunder Burst: Static Boom (1), which adds a second Thunder Burst charge, and Reverse Flux: Boost (1), which adds three extra lightning strikes when the pull catches at least four enemies.
Either route leads to Galvanize: Shock & Awe (2). After Galvanize lifts a target, the yank-down follow-up creates an electrical blast where that enemy lands.
Those are four upgrade nodes. The actual Evolved Venom abilities are introduced by the story. Buying toward one of these nodes doesn't mean you can skip the mission that introduces the associated power.
For crowds, think in stages: get the enemies close enough, apply the area attack, and use your next action on whoever remains dangerous. Reverse Flux's four-enemy threshold matters. If there are only two enemies left, waiting for the upgraded effect is pointless.
For Galvanize, the landing point matters as much as the launched enemy. You are using one opponent to hit a group. Avoid treating every move as though its only job is to damage the one character you have selected.
