Peter: all nine Spider-Arm nodes Peter begins with Spider Barrage as an ability. The nine mechanical-arm skill nodes are: 1. Spider Whiplash (1): the tree's opening arm purchase, lifting nearby enemies, including Brutes. Use it to interrupt a crowded ground fight. 2. Spider Rush (1; after Whiplash): a forward drive through enemies. Line the targets up before spending it. 3. Spider Rush: Tornado (1; after Rush): pulls a wider surrounding group into the attack. Better positioning can turn one hit into a useful crowd opener. 4. Spider Rush: Express Webbing (1; after Tornado): adds webbing to the first three targets. Aim the move toward useful surfaces instead of an empty patch of ground. 5. Spider Barrage: Heavy Impact (1; after Express Webbing): strengthens the final hit's area effect. Keep other enemies close enough to benefit from that ending. 6. Spider Shock (2; after Rush): electricity delivered through web lines. Use the opening it creates rather than immediately backing away from a controlled group. 7. Spider Shock: Overload (2; after Shock): chains the shock into additional targets. Best considered a group upgrade, not just a single-enemy damage purchase. 8. Spider Barrage: Brute Force (1; after Overload): makes Barrage available sooner. Worth more if Barrage is actually staying in your loadout. 9. Spider Whiplash: Electrifying (1; after Heavy Impact or Brute Force): adds an electric pulse to Whiplash. That gives a lift-focused setup another layer of interruption. For an early Peter build, Rush and Shock give you more things to do before you spend heavily polishing one move. After that, improve the ability you actually use. A fully upgraded attack sitting unequipped doesn't help you.
