Combat skills: getting more out of ordinary fighting
1. Energy Syphon | Level 3, one point.
Your attacks and dodges build Venom energy faster. This is an early recommendation because so much of Miles' control comes from having energy available. If you keep running out halfway through a fight, improving the supply is more useful than collecting another move you can't afford to use.
2. Web Yank Opportunist | Level 4, one point.
After a melee combo or Venom move sends an enemy away, hold Triangle for the follow-up yank attack. Think about where that opponent went before pressing it. The point is to keep pressure on a target you have already opened up, rather than letting the fight reset while you chase them.
3. In For A Shock | Level 5, one point.
Basic attacks gain a 50% damage bonus against Venom-stunned targets. This gives you a clear sequence: apply the stun, then actually take advantage of it with ordinary hits. Spending another expensive ability immediately isn't always necessary.
4. Spread The Love | Level 6, one point.
Knock a Venom-stunned enemy into another enemy and the stun spreads. Positioning starts doing some of the work for you. Aim your knockback toward the group instead of automatically sending everybody toward an empty corner.
