6/14 — Children of Morta: Skills & Family Progression 5. MARK — THE PERSONAL TREE T0 • Atman's Barrier: attacks fill a damage-reducing armor bar. • Scourging Whip: pulls and stuns enemies ahead. T4 • Assault Blitz: longer primary-attack approach range. • Guardian's Rage: empowered punching sequence. T8 • Spirit Surge: stronger barrier means stronger damage. • Swirling Staff: damaging knockback. • Zen: kill-counter-based critical improvement. T14 • Vault: aerial slam with nearby stun/damage. • Purge: extra damage against affected/debuffed enemies. T20 • Atman's Grace: critical hits build more barrier. • Restorative Rage: Rage activation restores health. My priority: make close-range access manageable, then reward the hits you can safely land. Whip provides control; Assault Blitz helps reach targets. The barrier/critical route then connects defense to offense rather than treating armor as a completely separate investment. Whip and Staff solve opposite positional problems. Pulling enemies together is useful when you can punish the group; pushing them away is useful when you need space. Automatically casting the pull whenever it is ready can undo the safety you just created. The late barrier loop is appealing, but does not mean stand inside attacks to demonstrate your armor. Preserving the barrier protects the offensive value of Spirit Surge too. Sources: https://t.co/djjv7FX3TS https://t.co/vfgmRJ0WAg https://t.co/Wv29pxbopr
