3/14 — Children of Morta: Skills & Family Progression 2. JOHN — THE PERSONAL TREE T0 • Shield of Thorns: blocked melee attacks hurt the attacker. • Heaven's Strike: falling swords damage an area. T4 • Aged Vigor: armor improvement. • Guardian's Rage: temporary invulnerability with retaliation damage. T8 • Shield Slam: nearby damage, stun and knockback. • Heaven's Grace: primary hits can refresh Heaven's Strike and make its strike critical. • Grit and Might: larger stamina reserve. T14 • Shield Dash: damaging, stunning shield charge; spends an evade charge. • No Quarter: extra damage against weakened enemies. T20 • Shield Blessing: blocking strengthens the following shield attack. • Last Stand: personal fatal-hit safeguard with brief invulnerability. My priority: establish a usable attack and defensive loop before chasing finishing bonuses. Heaven's Strike gives you a tool beyond ordinary sword swings. Shield Slam is valuable when the problem is being crowded. Heaven's Grace supports a more active attack-and-cast rhythm; Grit and Might is the alternative when your guard keeps running dry. Neither turns holding block forever into a good plan. The late distinction matters: Father's Protection is the family rescue, and does NOT save John himself. Last Stand is his own safeguard. Treat those as insurance, not permission to ignore an enemy wind-up. Sources: https://t.co/JYgrxEFRTt https://t.co/BEPstSi7F1 https://t.co/dZ3svdOyDM https://t.co/MVK3ucPCc8
