Trials floors give you objectives rather than asking you to wander around until everything happens to be dead. Protecting workers, surviving a wave, and completing a timed bonus are different problems. Read the requirement before committing to a fight. For protection objectives, watch what is threatening the protected target. Chasing the last enemy at the edge of the room while another group reaches the objective can turn decent personal combat into a failed challenge. Keep control abilities for the cluster that actually needs stopping. For waves, avoid giving up your escape route just to finish one enemy. Move in a way that lets the crowd follow instead of allowing it to spread around both sides. If you have an area attack, bunching enemies can make it more effective, but there is a point where gathering “just a few more” makes the situation harder to escape. A timed side objective deserves an actual decision. Players discussing difficult Trials runs repeatedly warn about losing a promising attempt by chasing the time bonus. That's practical advice: look at your health, damage, and remaining enemies before deciding the reward is worth the risk. Missing an optional bonus is better than treating every bonus as mandatory and losing the run. Bosses expose a different weakness. Room-clearing effects can look fantastic against a crowd, then leave you with poor sustained damage when there is one target. Before reaching that point, consider which attacks will still work and whether your recovery depends on frequent kills. Watch the boss's movement and attack tells, then spend your burst during a real opening. If a projectile pattern or charge is already starting, finishing one more attack can cost more than the damage you gain. A strong run still needs you to recognize when to stop attacking.
