There is a player report of completing Insane Family Trials with Yajouj’Majouj and Kevin. That's useful evidence that the pairing can work, but it isn't a controlled comparison proving Kevin is the best partner. The same discussion contains strong build opinions that change as players experiment, which is a good reminder not to turn somebody's successful run into a universal tier list.
For co-op, the practical thing to discuss is placement. If you're gathering enemies, give your partner a chance to use that cluster. Don't abruptly shift the fight toward them while they're committed to an attack. If one player needs to withdraw, creating room may help more than both players chasing the same nearly dead enemy.
Reviewers don't even agree on how easy this character is to learn. Save or Quit found the ranged tools accessible; Sequential Planet described a character that takes some adjustment. Both reactions make sense as individual experiences, not settled facts about what every player will find easy.
The concrete starting plan is to learn each form's attacks, practice the gather-and-hit interaction, and use switching to answer the encounter. I've deliberately left out exact talent rankings, damage multipliers, and supposed infinite-control builds because I couldn't verify them well enough. There's already enough here to give the character a proper try without inventing a perfect build.
