The green form has a long-range basic projectile attack and a shorter-range homing-projectile attack. The orange form throws explosive shots that damage an area and can deploy a small companion that draws enemies toward it. The Rage attack sends out a stream of homing projectiles and can be used from either form. These distinctions are described in Save or Quit's hands-on review, rather than inferred from a trailer thumbnail. That gives you several separate jobs to learn: direct fire, nearby tracking damage, area damage, and gathering enemies. Start by recognizing which job you need before adding a complicated build on top. Aiming at an enemy is only half the decision. Also look at the area around it. An isolated target and a tightly packed group should not automatically receive the same response. The orange explosion is valuable because of the space it covers; green's direct fire gives you a different way to pressure something that isn't standing in a crowd. Save or Quit's reviewer found the range and enemy control approachable, but also warned that this character can fall quickly when surrounded, particularly under ranged pressure. So don't confuse having several offensive options with having a large defensive margin. You still need somewhere to move. Hands-on mechanics: https://t.co/dbbS5oqGfp
